I know I know, a Liverpool forum, but I'm just curious how many trophies our posters think these guys will win?

They're still suspect defensively, and I think Ederson has yet to really be tested, but that firepower is incredible ...

People really think they'll blow the league?
Not necessarily, I think the smart arse answer to the question of how many trophies they will win this year is zero, as so far they have won nothing in 2017, and there are no more up for grabs between now and Dec 31

The only game of theirs I saw was against us. Are they are as glorious as people claim?
They are pretty damn awesome Macca. Incredibly creative in attack, and highly efficient (except Sterling) in finishing a good number of those chances. Wonderful passing and surely with great pass completion stats (I thought we were good). Strong in midfield (Fernandinho has been superb) though with weaknesses at the back but even Stones and Otamendi are having much better seasons than one could have imagined. Ederson has been a major improvement between the sticks though.

That said I can't wait for 14th January. We are going to destroy their unbeaten record.

They are probably going to the treble. League, FA Cup and League Cup. Never been done before I think.

The simple answer is yes - They annoyingly are.

Whatever little I have watched, I have been very impressed. Having said that, in the games I have watched, everything they do seem to run through De Bruyne. An injury to him can affect their season.

Well yeah - That is true. De Bruyne is a special player. They have a strength in depth that is pretty much unmatchable. Sane is another one who is very good and then there is Fernandinho who is pretty much is the best holding midfielder there is. Then on top of all of that they have Aguero. All marshalled by Pep. They are great to watch. They manage all of that while somehow being not smug and cuntish. Bastards! 😉

One good thing about this Man City domination is that it will lay to waste Mourinho's "second season effect" – he's built a pretty good team and I think they would have been performing even better now if they were in the lead, but now they can't muster up quite the same energy knowing the best they can get is 2nd.

I'm bitter like that too.

Hopefully, he will still be on course for his "third season implosion" effect though.

Anything is possible but I can't see them winning all four unless they get a soft draw and lots of luck in the CL all the way to the final

Do you think the FA should just give them the league title on new years day or something. It's all over.
