Here's my "logic".................FSG weren't in a rush to sign a CB in January until the very end of the window when Fabinho got injured. And, even when they finally signed 2 x CB's, they spent a total of £2.5m on a 20 year old kid (who they were so unsure about they wouldn't even commit to buying him in the summer) and a lower league journeyman who has never really been linked with a move to a top team.
If this has been their response and VVD/Gomez's return is unknown then they are idiots (& cunts) for leaving Klopp to pick up the pieces and to jeopardise our top 4 place and CL chances.
I can only believe that they know that VVD and or Gomez are close to a return and they were kinda hoping Klopp could keep plugging the holes (and hope we got past Leipzig) until March when the cavalry arrives.
If I am wrong and VVD/Gomez miss the quarter finals (if we finish off Leipzig) and we lose and then miss out on top 4......FSG need to fuck off and sell the club to someone who gives a fuck.

There is an underlying issue to all this, I just hope if by some miracle we do get 4th - and beat Chelsea to that spot we better hope Chelsea don't win the CL and that Spurs don't win the damn Europa Cup (which they could do). Otherwise we really will regret this bad run of form.

With remaining fixtures we can still get top 4. We have a very favourable run in.
The owners don't loosen the pursestrings lightly at any time. Otherwise we'd surely have bought a quality CB in January and the season might then have proceeded rather differently. Maybe our current situation might have a silver lining in persuading them to do more to build on our stellar last two seasons.
