Worst possible timeline: Alonso relentlessly chases Macallister to be his first signing for Madrid summer ‘25
Diaz might go, Nunez absolutely but Macca is different. Maybe it's the Irishman in him?

I don’t know if it’s red tinted glasses but Klopp generally manages to construct squads filled with players you think you could be mates with.

Alexis would definitely show up to help you move house, Darwin would sleep in because he spent the whole night romancing but you knew that would happen and Diaz would show up, work like a dog but drop everything trying to get it into the van.

He definitely chooses the right characters that you describe most of the time. Some are the types that you want to make sure remains your mate, because they’d be spectacular arseholes to you the moment they think you’re their enemy: Robbo, Mane, Darwin.

Yea you don’t borrow Robbo’s paint brushes and give them back crusty

We have ended up with a likable lot as players. It's obvious because even opposition fans have a hard time hating them so say is it all and they do try. It's pretty sign Klopp's reign that we have ended up with a load of players and especially the foreign ones whom are very likeable, not many signs of super cars or spit roasting in sight.
