This is just another example of how mad the football business is , it's big money yet so many involved are as thick as shit . I mean either this is in his contract or not .It should be pretty simple and if it isn't then some lawyers have fucked up as usual .
So either he knows it's not and he's playing games, which would seem more logical as if it was he could have legally forced the club to sell already , or the club has fucked up even more than i thought we could . I don't believe Rodgers and the board are trying to convince Suarez to stay by citing loyalty, passion or love. It's all about the £££. Shirt sales, marketing, ads etc.
I'm not even sure that they've tried to convince him to stay, I believe all they've told him is that they're waiting for the right bid and if it doesn't come, he's contractually obliged to stay.

Selling Suarez at value would be the most ideal, but every bloody agent out there will be aware of the extra dough that's just come in and we may end up buying over valuation. I'm not 'upset' - I want him gone. I just don't want the club to look like chumps. Selling to Arsenal for 40,000,000 (plus one fucking quid!) will do that.
Problem with that is the CL rivalry with Arsenal, as people have said before. Do Arsenal have time now to spend that money effectively on someone else? How much can his value drop? 3 years on his contract right now, might have had a good world cup by the time we sell him next summer...

i don't know ... it feels a bit like a dangerous game we are playing . Are we still fully in control ? Time will tell and if we are then fine . But if we end up selling him and not getting top quality in then someone should get their arse kicked because it's another window fucked .
