Luis Suarez pwned by the Lizards and is Staying, and has said sorry to BR and teammates

if we sell him for 40-45m i hope we spend that on max 2 players . Players who can maybe take the next step and become 30,40m players like luis did himself. Any ideas on players out there like that ? Anyone at porto , in south america , dutch league etc ?
personally , if we also get that shaktar lad , i'd like to spend the money on another forward and a top midfield player .

Lukaku could be worth a try if Chelsea do indeed sign Cavani and hang on to Torres. Benteke and Bony would be much cheaper and offer similar skillsets, but aren't quite as talented. Jovetic would probably be available, as would Muriel.

Some random players who would be good fits IMO but would never happen for various reasons include KPB, Rooney, Mertens, Mangala, N'Koulou, Kouyate...

Love him as a player (and perhaps he's also a good person) but he really needs a lot of training on how to handle media.

Cue Suarez handing in transfer request a week before window closes.

Hands off! Liverpool refuse to budge over Suarez amid claims that striker has agreed personal terms with Real

Liverpool are digging in their heels over Luis Suarez amid further claims in Spain that he has agreed a lucrative move to Real Madrid.
Influential Spanish paper Marca, renowned for its close links with the Bernabeu, has reported that Suarez has settled on personal terms with Real and even insisted the unsettled Liverpool striker has received other offers that he will consider, should the La Liga champions continue to dither over following up with a firm £40million-plus bid.
But the English club are in no mood to back down and seem adamant Suarez will have to force the issue by submitting an official transfer request.

In Brazil: Suarez is currently playing for Uruguay in the Confederations Cup
Angry Anfield bosses reacted swiftly to initial claims of an approach by Real by publicly stating Suarez was not for sale and would be in breach of contract, should talks have taken place.
Their stance has not changed, and they are keeping a close eye on developments at the Bernabeu, now Carlo Ancelotti has finally been confirmed as successor to Jose Mourinho.
Suarez has made no secret of his wish to join Real, in a series of interviews while on international duty with Uruguay, but he has been left in no doubt that Liverpool will not smooth the way for an untroubled exit.
After standing by him each time indiscipline has cost him dear, they expect some loyalty in return and are unlikely to relent unless he makes his position official by putting in a written demand to leave.
Such an extreme move would leave him at odds with Liverpool fans, as well as officials, and surely signal the imminent end of a hugely controversial spell at Anfield, since arriving from Ajax.

Goals galore: Suarez was Liverpool's star performer last season

This is what will happen ...

Madrid will think they're dealing with the Liverpool of Owen ...

They won't offer us what we want, and we'll thankfully tell them to fuck right off and enjoy seeing Neymar win La Liga

Suarez will be pissed and score 30-40 odd goals leading us to a top 4 finish

"Cavani refused to discuss any possible move when quizzed about the rumours at the weekend, but he did respond to questions about his suitability to play in the EPL, and seemed to take a dig at his international teammate Luis Suarez as he did so. "I am a strong man," he told reporters. "The media don't affect me. The media only affects weak people. I only see positive things in the English league."

WOW ... Oh come on Suarez ... Now you have to stay - shut that fucking cuntvani up.

I hope that Suarez neds up with the Golden Boot at the Confederations Cup. That will boost his price quite nicely. Liverpool certainly won't budge on price.

There are quite a few teams in for him and expect that he will be sold if they meet the transfer activation price set out by the club.

If these reports are true about him "agreeing" terms with Madrid, without our say-so for them to approach him, I hope to fuck we take them to the cleaners over the fee, like everyone else does with us.

We really need to stand firm over this.

For some odd reason I can't make out the player on the left. He looks more like Bellamy.

I'm not on the wind up, however I might be blind.

knowing Madrid to be the absolute cunts they are they will happily let this drag out all summer. We need to be proactive on this and do 2 things

1 make it clear to Suarez this media campaign is over and he either hands in a transfer request next week or he drops the whole thing. Tell him if he doesnt we will investigate him for breach of contract in agreeing terms with Madrid and fine him accordingly

2 if he submits a transfer request we contact Madrid directly and tell them what the price is, they then have until the week before preseason to come up with the cash or there is no deal. Once preseason starts we won't even answer the phone to them. If they don't play ball we report then to Uefa for tapping up a contracted player

We should definitely give clubs and deadline day if they want suarez or no Deal. We don't want this dragging into August. We tell them by mid July or wait till next summer. Looks like spurs are standing firm on bale which is a real pain for us.

According to Luke Edwards (Telegraph):

Liverpool will seek urgent talks with striker Luis Suárez to assess whether he is in breach of contract following claims from Spain he has agreed personal terms with Real Madrid.

Often in cases like these, the player’s agents will have discussed wages with an interested club and an agreement is reached in principle before an offer is made to the club. Either way, Liverpool have every right to be irritated by Suárez’s behaviour.

If, as seems likely, Suárez does intend to quit Anfield this summer, Liverpool will not be bullied into parting with him and will demand their asking price – likely to be around £40 million – is met before they consider letting their star player leave.

We should ask for whatever ____ pays for Cavani.
