Luis Suarez pwned by the Lizards and is Staying, and has said sorry to BR and teammates

The Guardian reports that Liverpool are considering legal action against Arsenal who broke PL rules finding the clause in Suarez's contract.

I frankly find it impossible to believe that Ian Ayre would be taking legal advice from Alan Sugar's twitter feed, while riding around Melbourne on a Harley Davidson.

Suarez's a definite goner (no pun intended).

His body language since coming on has been absolutely unworthy of any Liverpool shirt. If he doesn't want to play for us, boot him out. And I'm being polite.

Oh fuck right off. One game, after he's just flown long haul into Oz?

It's pre-season and as @gkmacca has pointed out in another thread, his body language in games we are winning can be fucking awful - berating refs, shouting at team mates, throwing his hands in the air.

When we're winning 6 nil it's the sign of a winner eh...

It didn't too great in fairness mate. Shoulders slumped and big grumpy head on as he was coming on. That's not over-analysing the situation either.

Haha!

Found this aswell:
@Saikat_LFC: Geey (football lawyer) - "Arsenal aren't supposed to know about any confidential clauses in Suárez's contract. Its is an illegal approach."

This could get messy

People who think we can replace Suarez and stupidly comparing it to Torres are forgetting a few things -

1) Suarez is currently ON TOP of his game and one of the most feared strikers in Europe (it seems because he's acted a right cunt we're forgetting how damn good he is). There are few better than him, and if they are, they cost MORE than it will cost to sell him
2) Torres was on the way down - everyone could see it. There were whispers about his health already.
3) Yes, we replaced Torres with Suarez ... what's to say we won't replace Suarez with a Carroll like signing? Yah, where's the typical negative shit? We're suddenly optimistic because we struck gold with Coutinho and Sturridge? Have people seen the moaning already about Alberto after one bad sub appearance? I can't wait for the attacks on Aspas to start too - they'll come in time.

Suarez has acted a right cunt - and everyone should be furious for him.

I'm not arguing that though - we are a far far more dangerous team when he's in our starting line up than when he isn't, regardless if we beat Newcastle 6-0 or Fulham 3-1 as the season winded down last year. He is one of the most feared strikers in Europe and selling him WEAKENS us.

It's a world cup year - if we don't sell, he'll give 110% and score his 25-35 goals and get us 4th place. If we get 50 million, sell him but let's not pretend we'll be replacing him with 1/2 players who'll be as productive and ready to contribute from the word go as our January signings were.

Rory Smith - It is thought Suarez has been in contact with his legal team in Uruguay if the saga drags on & LFC refuse to talk with Arsenal

*puts on my Freud cap* - Your use of the words 'On Top', 'More' and 'Weakens' all in UPPER CASE seems to suggest there is something else going on in your post.

*pats down couch* - Please feel free to discuss further...

£50m+ and a transfer request or you stay. Sulk and you can rot in the reserves.

If hes gonna continue to act the cunt and move heaven and earth to leave, i'd fucking love it if we let him rot in the reserves.

Would be brilliant and it's about time a Club took a stand over such matters!!

Fuck him - bring it on.

I think I'm going to be a bit more extreme than Sheikh - if we don't get the offer we want, and he pulls more stunts, keep him in Liverpool and ban him from any footy contact whatsoever. Let him have his wages but essentially render him without footy until the world cup. He wants to fuck our club, we can just fuck up his career.

Goal.com reporting now that Suarez squeezed Gerrards bum and stole a lock of Coutinho's hair before leaving the MCC..... 😱

Thing is, we can rant and rave all we want, but as Rory Smith said, we were happy enough to ignore this side of his character when we signed him. All the signs were there. I think better just to take the money and remember next time that a player's character is important as well as his ability.

Did any of us ignore it? Not many. Lots of us excused it to some extent, but not ignored it. Yet again, Rory Smith wildly exaggerates in order to make himself seem really mature and wise and prudent.

Um didn't he leave Ajax on extremely good terms with the fans? I remember a video of him going back to give a proper goodbye and they had fireworks and stuff. Also it seems that he gets on well with other players.

I can't wait for the Suarez legal challenge. He's got a great track record

Do we have any 'holes' we need to worry about? It seems - unless the contract language is really really clear - that everything is in our favor.

Fuck him - He plays for us, and gets us 4th (or better). Or he fucks off for 50 million. It's lovely to finally see us handling something like this like a proper club.

Which is usually the bit where we compromise on the latter.

Anyway...... We've had our moneys worth, and while we do ofte come through these situations with a new messiah, having the money in our pocket is never a guarantee of anything.
