Luis Diaz

I only worry b/c it's Portugal and how many 'great' players come from there and don't manage to replicate their form in England?
He looks really good though - so I'm excited.
There’s some real decent Portuguese players in the premier league right now. We have the best of the bunch already.

He looks tailor-made for Klopp's football. Very dangerous cutting in from the left, but scores a variety of goals. Good awareness of teammates too, not overly individualistic. Quick, strong, looks sturdily built; I can see why he was supposedly #1 on our list for this position.

So does this mean that Jota will move to the opposite flank or is he seen as a striker now?

Bruno Fernandes also adapted insanely quickly, which did put my mind at ease about Diaz. Similar to Suarez coming from Ajax, sometimes players just have so much quality the difference in leagues becomes a non-issue. Fingers crossed Diaz is one of them.

Fair point about Bruno.

Is he cup tied for the Champions League? Forget how the rules work on this these days.
Even if the rules are the same as last season (and Momo says they've changed) then he could still play right? Not during group stages but once into the KOs yes? At least that's what I've always thought the regulations stated.

Yes. It's not a Morientes situation with him.

This has to mean that at least one of our attackers is leaving, right?
Origi? Minamino?
