I'n not sure what I find harder to believe; their shame at winning last night, or the fact you have friends

Mind you, if they are your friends, them acting like weird spastics isn't overly surprising

However let's not pretend that United had to beat the world to those trophies :

City the only top rated side in 11 rounds of cup matches ; Northampton, City, West Ham, Hull (inc. losing away) and Southampton (due to poor refereeing perhaps) then Zorya Luhansk, Fenerbahce (lost away), Feyenoord (lost away), St Etienne, Rostov, Anderlecht and Celta Vigo (and then only due to Guidatti (sp.) missing a sitter from 6m in the 96th minute) and an Ajax side with an average age of 22 and a 17 y.o ,in central defence !

United really fell over the line in the EL. Mourinho really was a lucky fucker this season.

My horse is a pony. Please accept my apoligices (hard word to speil!!). My rant came out on your post, and that was of course not the intention.

However that all that "matters is winning" clearly doesn't go for everything. Sorry mate. United fans were gloating as hell after community Chield about 1 game 1 trophy. Sure they need to be told what is important to win and not?

PS: Attractive football is fun.. it's sexy.... and it's why Mourinho had to say in a press conference after his parked bus kept us to å draw "Liverpool is not the 8th wonder of the world after all".

And the Europa League win removes a LOT of pressure from Mourinho regarding all the turgid shit he sent out this year.

Anyone who thinks they won't get rid of a lot of deadwood and bring in some class players this summer is deluded. It may not all come together for them next year but this trophy was huge for their future prospects.

We know what falling off a cliff looks like. Wednesday was them hanging on at the top.

Don't know about you but it's far too early to get smug about United yet.

Their 2-1 win over Bayern in 1999 or thereabouts are winning. That hoofing game against Ajax U21 is brilliant because next season when we meet up in the pub I will be the one bringing up that game and reminding them what the return on their 250 M pound outlay was. Shittiest footballgame I ever saw. And I will remind them about it every fucking week. Did you watch the game mate? 6 or 7 times the first half their hoof went straight to the Ajax goalie. Romero started time wasting after 20 mins. Can't wait to bring that game up.

You can't ruin a ludicrous thread. Anyway the story of the great Giants of Manchester winning is just a ludicrous rumour anyway. Strangest thing is that the wankfest over that glorious win only exist here.
 
There is a rumour that failing to win the CL will cost Zidane his job. There are people in Real that is overly impressed with that League Cup win of Mourinho and realized it was big mistake to let hun go. The final display against Ajax has out further pressure on Zizou!
 
Another reason why I want them to beat Juventus. Zidane's done much better than I expected as coach and deserves far better than this from the people in charge.

They got a trophy out of it. The only one they'd never won. And qualified for Champs League. How they won is inconsequential and it's petty and small minded to argue otherwise.
 
No more Utd talk eh? They won, its a trophy, it turned out to be a good season for them but so did ours in the end. We finished above them in the league. End off, and move on 😉
 
How times have changed after years of hearing united fans say the league is the bread and butter and they not a cup team.
