Ludicrous Rumours

Sorry but, if we want to progress beyond that dismal showing in the CL, we're gonna need those dollars you're so sniffy about. Sad but unavoidable these days.
It's not worth that much .

The prize pool would be like £20m assuming we won a few group games , plus gate.

Leicester got £30m for getting to the quarter finals ..

It's certainly the biggest competition but unless you make it to the latter stages the money isn't that much of a difference maker

We still literally can't afford to turn our noses up at it, plus the question of whom we can sign is likely to be affected as the kind of players we're likely to be after will probably want CL football.

Yeah, Ajax were shit and United won.

So that's two trophies and CL football delivered by Mourinho in his first season. The same two finals we lost last season, if you recall.
...against City and Sevilla rather than Southampton and Ajax. Not fair!

And Crystal Palace in the FA cup and Leicester in the Community shield.

You can only beat whats in front of you, but fucking hell they've gotten lucky with their opponents.

They're better. Better players. Better manager. Won two cups in his first season. Back in CL next season. Will spend 150m in summer. Maybe more.

I'd be quite satisfied with that if I was a United fan.

I'd be fucking delighted if we managed to win two trophies and have guaranteed CL football this time next year

You really think so?

Even if Mourinho wasnt so unlikable I would never even consider to swap him with Klopp.

The fuck I want to watch the most defensive shite at home and away week in week out. His extremely boring tactics are even annoying United fans I know despite their trophy yesterday.

All the money in the world and what do you do, AGAIN!? You decide to build a brick wall.

So yeah, even if Mourinho was Mr. Awesome I'd prefer Klopp's far more visionary, bold and entertaining approach every day.

New rule by the Chinese FA will stop insane transfers to the East. Probably.

A 100 percent tax penalty when you buy foreign players. Pay £30M for player X and pay the same to the governmemt - unless the club got black numbers on the sheets that is. And as all the top clubs are in red that'll most likely mean that it will affect all of them.

Sturridge stays!!

Will be interesting to see what happens to Costa.

Mourinhi is a twat but he does what successful people do... he wins cup finals and leagues. He does what ultimately counts in football. Klopp entertains with his teams but ultimately you have to do what is necessary tactically to win and again just like last season he fucked up by repeating the same mistakes. There was a point last season if he was astute enough with tactics he could have got us CL footy or 3/4th place but he insisted on his style over winning/substance.

He sure has won a lot and for that he should get credit. I dont like his style though, never have.

With the current United squad he clearly underperformed in the league and I am highly doubtful he's the man to bring them back to greatness. He's a one trick pony, who's spending gazillions on building an utterly defensive minded team. That works when you have much more money than anyone else but those days are gone. He's the equivalent to a school yard bully really when it comes to managing. He only comes out on top if he's got way more 'muscle' to show.

Now he's up against really talented managers like Conte, Poch and Klopp and he won't stand a chance in the longer run.

He's won the title in four different leagues and with every club he's ever managed
I get that you like him and all but that's not correct as United hasn't exactly won the league yet with him in charge.

Next season he'll probably have both the most expensive and second most expensive player in his squad alongside a long list of amazingly expensive teammates too and I very much doubt he'll win it there as well. The way they presented themselves in the league this season was pretty abysmal, score a goal and then sit back for 80 minutes only for them to conceded ten minutes before time. This also applied at home against the likes of Hull etc.

They lost very few games but drew like half of their games (almost). He's clueless when he's not managing a team that's vastly superior to everyone else.

I don't like him, I fucking hate him
He's a massive, horrible cunt

They are better, better player and better manager.... hence they should be satisfied for finishing lower in the League? You got a bad case there.

All I care about is WINNING football. Attractive football is just a bonus. Rafa played some turgid football but made us a force in Europe so I didn't care.

Most of the United fans I know are undecided on him and thats taking the Europa League win into account. Winning is important, but they haven't been. Ultimately, the Charity Shield, League Cup and Europa Cup done cut the mustard. Its about the Premier League and Champions League, and playing like they do, they won't be winning either of those.

For fuck sake. Everyone wants to win, but money rules. The rich clubs have better chances than poor clubs.

Juve and Real landed each title last weekend and will fight it out for the CL next weekend. Thats winning.

United parking the bus for a 6th place in PL and scraping through a weak Europa League and hoofing the ball against a U21Ajax team is not. If Europa League is the level of the biggest spender in world football, at least make it sexy. That much you owe football community.

So can we now stop the wankfest for the shittiest Europa League winner the last decade? For fuck sake my Manc friends are dead quite and ashamed and you guys fight their case? Shut it!!
