Liverpool's Summer Transfers : Speculation & Rumours

Couldn't even give a fuck it's a quiff

We aren't buying anyone lads. If we're willing to be creative in an area where were arguably weak, we're definitely not buying in an area we're strong like midfield.

Bye thiago.
I don't know about that. It means if the funds are limited would you rather spend money on a 3rd or 4th CB as Gomez is going to be hard to improve upon or would you spend the money on a player that competes for a starting role and whose presence in the squad frees up other emergency type CBs. For example, Thiago's precense making Fabinho a viable option as the 4th CB. All while leaving room for your promising youngsters. Of which there are 4-5 at the CB spot and none at the CDM spot....

Its more that we wont spend our limited funds on a 4th choice CB. Lovren played 777 minutes of PL football, roughly 8 and a half games.
I doubt he will be that much missed.

I've been trying to tell people for a while, mate. But they won't listen.

Thiago won’t come till Wijnaldum goes or we shift gruij and Wilson.

I think there's more chance of us selling Wijnaldum, Grujic, Wilson and Brewster, and getting nobody in.

I honestly don't get what's going on here. It seems like they're taking advantage of Klopp's genius and seeing how far they can strip this squad down and get away with it.

I think if it reached that then Klopp would walk. He could take 3 months to a year out then get any top job that became available.

I wish Tall Paul Gorst would beat the shite out of the Echo's Ian Doyle, the snide little twat. Always sneering about the fans - except for him, of course - and how stupid and ungrateful they are for 'whining' about transfers. He's one of those characters who has embraced the role of the office grump, but he's a crap hack and such a pain in the arse. Do FSG pay him a pension? If he's not careful he'll end up locked in a small room, wearing a wing collar and mumbling 'Germany Calling, Germany Calling...' into the Stygian gloom.

Turn 8 wins to 8 draws or losses and we don't win the league do we?

Gomez has had injury problems, as has matip. It's not outside the realms of possibility that there will be a spell where one or both is injured this season.

Honestly, I want thiago, but if rather spend 30m on a capable backup to mane/Salah, because other than Elliot, our wingers are shite

He has to hope to avoid a problem at cb, even though with an additional cb last year we were still forced to use henderson and fabinho. It's fucking silly. This team deserves better than being burnt out like this.

No no no. You don't understand.

Everything is excellent!

Rumours are:
Harry Wilson current bid of £15m from Leeds and Villa
Grujic from £14 from Borussia Mönchengladbach

Based on the past few premier league games Firmino, Van Dijk and Alison need binning off for fresh legs.

No idea how solid that story is but Ox has been on the fringe of the team for 3 years and hes no closer to breaking in now than when he signed. Hes slipped behind Keita in the pecking order and the rapid progression of Curtis Jones probably means hes just not going to figure much this year.

I think hes a great impact sub with his pace and direct running against tired midfielders he creates problems and opens up space. But it looks increasingly like the club is operating a sell to buy transfer policy. At 27 hes in his prime in terms of getting a fee for him, and probably deserves to play more regular football.

Nice lad, had a few nice moments but he's constantly having bad luck with injuries. If selling him allows Klopp money for a new player, then so long Ox.
