We may as well shut the forum down then.
But if you cant moan here, where can you?

I'm tired of whining about signing players especially on the back of us being the current title holders.
Let Man U, Chelsea, City and to a lesser extent Arsenal strengthen their teams.
If it leads to more competitive games, then so be it, I for one welcome the competition.
When it's all said and done, we still have a pretty decent team and our best XI (yeah I said it) is second to none in the league.
Wouldn't it be a greater feat to beat them despite all the strengthening they've done?Yeah I defo want a closer league this year. Romping to victory is shit. It's boring all this winning lark, let the teams bridge the gap and make it a tighter affair.

Lol, are we trying to set a record for the number of strawmen we can fit in one thread?I hope City sign Messi and Koulibaly so they can batter everyone and beat us a couple of times and make a real race of it.
we need to look at ourselves and start the transition by bringing in a couple of top younger players in their early 20's.
One striker/forward, one midfielder.
Also a back-up center back.

Havent the other clubs taken up loans to fund the spending that is happening this pre season (among other things)?
Utd took out another loan of around 140 mill not long ago.
Would you want the club to borrow money to fund signing a few players now, or stick with the sell first and then sign?
Cool, so what were we doing before COVID? Since the champions league win we've invested....20m? Kostas and Taki? Sepp too.
we're having out greatest period of success, and whilst there is excuses for some inactivity, this just seems like gross negligence.
I want to win the league by 50 fucking points
Couldn't give a fuck if the premier league becomes a farmers league
I want us to be the best, year in year out, and to put europe to the sword too
Arsed with close leagues. I don't want an agueroooooo moment. I don't want a macheda moment. I want the league to be so fucking dour and so fuckign drab, and pummel the opposition to submission
It was just a question. Spurs, Everton and Utd seem to have borrowed money to spend given the lack of income. Chelsea and City are funded by oil money.
I would like to spend money on a few players aswell, but it seems some on here thinks that the Covid pandemic arent effecting our finances.
Aurier? A good defender?
We tried to turn Caulker in to a CF, so stranger things have happenedHe's only 27... plenty of time to mature into a quality CB.

find me a successful club in world football who aren't taking loans out.
But we're not. Weve won 5 trophies and we've spent 20m.
Liverpool FC.
We still need a CB and RB...
Williams is still a long way off being a quality RB, lok at the room he was giving Aubameyang. "IF" Serge Aurier is looking to leave Spurs we should consider him.
He predominantly plays at RB, and in that postion He looks to be a better defender than TAA. Going forway he is very good, but he is not as good as TAA.
I also believe he could become a Quality CB, better than Gomez, and maybe even Matip...
He is worth the look
Now I totally understand why the teams sponsored by evil empires can afford to spend while we can't (without borrowing money) .
But how can we legitimately argue that Chelsea isn't stronger when they've signed every player that we've been fantasizing about for the past two years? The only big players left on the market are those even Chelsea couldn't afford to buy.
This!Just a reminder that the transfer window doesn't close for five weeks.
