There's several posters still saying we desperately need to buy a DM still

I'm reasonably certain h's not that short term.

Same - that's not Klopp's / our style. I'm just saying even he does end up being a short-term fix, it was worthwhile getting him.

This whole going without thing we've gotten used to is tired. His signing made most go WTF but just having someone competent that can do the job makes a difference.

I like how he seems intent on finding the right ball when in posession. Very progressive, really do like some of the players we buy sometimes. Never heard of him before.

On one hand I'd really like to see how he does with a run of games in his natural position. On the other hand it means 3 of Gravenberch Szoboszlai Mac Elliott and Jones are benched. I don't know if that's the right thing for us. Szoboszlai seems to have hit a wall after the recent internationals, Mac to a certain extent too

Too many games. Great goal mind.

Macca's admitted in at least one previous interview that he's found it hard to get up to speed so soon after the latest international break. So the guy's only human - big whoop. The fact that Kloppo still selected him shows how highly he rates what Macca brings to the team.

I was thinking that even if, for some reason, we end up replacing him in the summer and he only ends up being a short-term fix, it was absolutely worth the money and a valuable lesson in not always having to wait for the so called "right" player.

I hope we heed that same lesson when it comes to the CB issue next month.

Klopp adds "I don't think so" on the prospect of Liverpool adding a defender to the squad in January.

Love the guy, today was a very tough game for him with Hughes and others breathing down his necks.....used his body well at times to draw fouls but needs to know how to move or shift the ball quicker especially in games away from home.

I also thought he played well, but too many times he did not have a good outlet, if part because there is no one in the right back space when he receives the ball at times. So, he was forced to take a second touch and got hounded.

When he had time, he turned beautiful and made some lovely progressive passes.

Not sure that he was subbed for not playing well, but Klopp decided to have more of a right back and chose to keep Trent vs Endo on the field.

It's the consistency of the displays I'm happiest about. Even on a yellow today he was still great

He was good again today and even on a yellow he just got on with it. With the money left over from his and Gravy's transfers vs the Caceido bid, hopefully there is a budget to strengthen in January if Klopp wants to.

Japanese Kante is my favourite player at the moment.

What i love about him is he rarely gives the ball away and just when you think he's pretty limited, he surprises you with a good pass or run with the ball. His decision-making when on the ball is also superb.
