Liked and appreciated Keane's lack of celebration, too, as did the crowd, who gave him a warm reception

If only he had been as deadly as that while he was here rather than perfecting the 'swish foot through the air without touching the ball technique' he would still have been here.

Ah well, he did show a touch of class by not cartwheeling along in front of Rafa.

Has Carra screaming "fuck off" to someone (seemingly) in the Centenary Stand in the 23rd minute been commented on?

Where was Arbeloa sitting?
Nah. Rafa had just told him he would be playing at right back next season.

Well, he turned towards the crowd and screamed "Fuck off" and pointed at someone/thing. Could have been the linesman, but it definitely looked like it was aimed at a fan. It was in the 23rd minute, Carra was standing about halfway between the Anfield Rd end and the halfway line. The ball was over at the other side of the pitch from him.

Can anyone get the footage?

He definitely shouted it at someone.

Could someone put up some links to the game?

MOTD or something?..ANYTHING will do?

The game wasnt on TV and all the streams mentioned on here kept crashing for me..

Really gutted to have missed Sami's last game for us.

It was a good gesture, and nothing to do with 'still losing', it was only 2-1 at that point
Without any shadow of a doubt.

Respectful gesture.

Yes it was, especially as he can't have been happy about the way he left, whether or not one thinks the decision itself was justified.

Apparently Harry Redknapp said Liverpool were 'a bit end of seasonish' and his team could have 'scared' them if they'd upped their game a bit. Brilliant as ever, 'Arry. What you seem to be saying is that if Spurs hadn't been even more 'end of seasonish' than Liverpool, the result might have been different. No wonder you're always lecturing Fabio Capello on tactics!

I saw the interview - he was much more gracious than that makes it sound. Talked about how great we were, and the gulf in class between the top 4 and the rest. It was the game he said was 'end of seasonish' rather than us.

Oh. This what he told the journalists:

"Liverpool were a bit end-of-seasonish,†said Harry Redknapp. “If we’d have upped the tempo there’s a chance we could have gotten something here today.

“I told them at half-time, listen we’ve got to raise our game here. Fulham are getting beat. But we were a little bit short.â€

Fair enough. He was much more generous in his TV interview. Went on about how we'd only been beaten twice all season - once by them ('and we were a bit fortunate there to be fair' - cheeky Cockney grin etc) and how we were generally a class side.

And let's be honest, we *were* a bit end of seasonish.

Oh yes, we were, but not as much as they were. I just find 'Arry's antics this season pretty tiresome.

What antics? I mean, he's not my favourite Southerner or anything, but the respective form of Portsmouth and Spurs before and after he left/joined them surely says something about his quality as a manager.

Either that or Ramos and Tony Adams are just unbelievably shit.

So yeah, on second thoughts...

Well, his media 'interventions' on Capello's early matches were, IMHO, laughably arrogant and unhelpful. Then there were his amateurish dealings with Newcastle, when he actually agreed to take over, let Ashley go ahead and sack Allardyce and then changed his mind (I've had that sequence of events confirmed by a couple of good sources). Then there was his move to Spurs and his rants against the previous manager, the players and just about everyone but himself when the team hit a bad patch. Then there was his now standard trick of tapping up Keane via the media (just like he previously did with Crouch). I just felt he was quite petty and/or shambolic at certain times this season.
