Huge game.

Most likely starting the same team with Hendo in for Naby.

Results aside we’ve played poorly going forward, we need to click on Sunday.

KDB could be back for them.

I'm very worried about our front 3 - they looked like strangers most of the game yesterday.
No better game than to put this to bed, but if you cannot muster a shot against Napoli in 90 minutes, we're going to find the going against City much tougher.

Id drop Salah, we cant afford any passengers this weekend and hes not been up to speed all season. Playing yourself into form is an option against Huddersfield ina few weeks, not against Citt. Let Shaqiri start on the right and alternate with Mane.

If TAA and Robertson play the way they have been in the last couple of fixtures then Sane and Sterling are going to have a field day so its tempting to think Fabinho might start to provide some protection.

Wait a minute. OK I didn't see last night's match and I believe both fullbacks were poor, but I thought both played well against Chelsea.

The usual team I guess with none of the new midfielders starting.
Not confident based on the last 2 or 3 games for us and them, but, they're dodgy at the back usually, and we seem to raise our game vs them.

Drop Salah? Fucking nuts. He may not be scoring but he frightens the shit out of teams and takes 2-3 defenders with him every time he gets the ball, Thereby creating space and chaos.
I'm worried about fatigue, mental as well as physical and this match is going to be draining. I'm amazed Klopp didn't rotate last night. Milly looked fucked and others clearly not in their prime. City's squad depth will ensure whoever plays is as fresh as a daisy.

We need energy in midfield and attack, I'm not sure who's got it. I liked Fabinho's first few minutes last night - then we were overrun everywhere so difficult to judge but I'd be tempted to start him. A big gamble for sure to think we're there. Fab, Milly (for 60 mins then Keita) and Gini.
I would like to fit Shaq in the starting team but don't know how since we rely on Firmino for both pressing and winning the ball back and in attack to stitch it all together.

It will quite obviously be the same team with Henderson in for Keita. Hope they're not fucked

We’re going to get fucking humped.
We are playing shite, keeping zero clean sheets and cant score for fuck all.

I get that our record is good against them, but we usually are in form. Right now we are playing horribly.
And they are on fire.
Its stupid to think we will get anything.
The only plus is we are level now so its not like they open a huge gap if they win.

My thoughts too, But we do tend to raise our game for bigger sides. We might surprise

DUMBELDORE'S ARMY NEEDS A LEADER.
If we wanted a Moron to lead us, we'd have asked Moron to do so.

I'm not aware of the what's been going on around here lately, but is Oncy joking or doing some reverse jinx shit?

Because every thread I read nowadays, it's just him shitting on us and every player, despite the result or performance.

You'd think we were United right now.

There's a phrase for this in Liverpool, dunno if it's known elsewhere.

It's called "crying it home" here though.

I think Trent has been poor for a few games really, and Robbo has still been good, but a little below his standards of last season at times. The whole team looks like it's got a bit of a hangover really, bar the two centre halves and Milner.

I wouldn't

Yup. More defensiveness really. I'd argue he deserves a start, but when our forward game isn't working, we seem to end up dropping deeper and deeper for the ball, we're just taking another attacking option away from a team who's attacking game hasn't quite clicked. Like the whole thing I said about Milner/Gini/Henderson being too industrious, it's more of the same again by adding Clyne.

For all his recent poor form, at least TAA is likely to pull a great pass or cross out of the bag at some point.

We need the defence to be on top form, and the strikers to be clinical. I can see us being under pressure for large spells of this game.
