Perhaps, in the grand scheme of things, him being taken off PREVENTED a more fearsome injury.

I think this is the case, obviously we need more information on the injury though.
rafa HAS to buy a striker in the summer.

First, you assumed that he was taken off because he was injured

Then, Rafa says he was taken off because he was tired.

Now, he's injured.

So did he injure himself because he was tired or did he injure himself because he was injured?

[glow=red,2,300]Perhaps, in the grand scheme of things, him being taken off PREVENTED a more fearsome injury.[/glow]

BUt we should still wait and see exactly WHY he was injured before using it to crow Rafa's magnificent foresight.
Or did he get injured in the next game, where he scored two and developed a problem with his knee?
Perhaps.

I just thought the automatic assumption that Rafa was channelling Nostradamus wsaa bit silly.

Aqua Masch

Maxi Gerrard Babel

Good to see Babel back and to see Aquilani included from the off.

Strange that he drops Lucas after his well-taken goal midweek but as been said that's on of Rafa's less transparent decisions.

I don't mind it though I reckon Aqua will have a stormer.
