*re-thinks drive to Liverpool*

why you doing that we have great cover..... Actually
well, rafa was TOTALLY wrong to be cautious with torres.
This isn't the moment for petty recriminations and point scoring. It is the moment for panic, depression and hysteria.

you are TOTALLY right about that. his caution cost us 2 points. and his excuse was that torres need protection. well torres is injured now regardless so what did benitez achieve out of his caution? absolutely fuck all

Hey, why can't we have it all?!
Don't be greedy. The recriminations and point-scoring comes after the game.

"Come" , I think. 😛
Oh fuck off JJ. This gets boring.

Haha, exactly Dantes. We protected him and he's still knackered, so ultimately we've achieved nothing. Either way, as Rafa says, no-one really knows what his fitness was like at the time and we don't know what kind of injury it is nor how it was picked up.

I'm not saying anything; when you have your arse handed to you by Dantes then there's no return from that.

he might be knackered for less time.

so we should have risked further injury in the pursuit of three points? fair enough.

you have fergie who obviously doesn't give a shit about the long term fitness of his players and you have rafa who puts the players ahead of the short term gain of the club.
fergie is a hell of a lot more successful then rafa, maybe that is the way rafa should go.

Apart from Rooney the other day, who else?

First, you assumed that he was taken off because he was injured

Then, Rafa says he was taken off because he was tired.

Now, he's injured.

So did he injure himself because he was tired or did he injure himself because he was injured?

Perhaps, in the grand scheme of things, him being taken off PREVENTED a more fearsome injury.

BUt we should still wait and see exactly WHY he was injured before using it to crow Rafa's magnificent foresight.

What, precisely, is the fuck wrong with him?

Sicknote Spanish cunt.
he 'is' always fucking injured, though. rooney, messi and ronaldo are always fit.

Or did he get injured in the next game, where he scored two and developed a problem with his knee?

we can sit here and argue the manager's handling of a player fitness but he is the one that sees them daily and has a whole host of medical staff feeding him data.
