Jürgen Klopp has confirmed that Ragnar Klavan and Nathaniel Clyne are ruled out of Liverpool's meeting with Bournemouth on Saturday due to injury.

But the German expects Roberto Firmino to be available after the striker felt discomfort in his neck earlier in the week.

Firmino, Klavan and Clyne all featured as the Reds earned a 2-1 away win over Manchester City on Tuesday to secure passage to the semi-finals of the Champions League.

However, the latter pair will be unable to take part this weekend when the Cherries visit Anfield in the Premier League.

Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com: "It's quite difficult at the moment, we must wait pretty much [every] five minutes for some news. At the moment it looks OK.

"Unfortunately, I think, not 100 per cent sure, that Raggy felt a little bit [something] muscle-wise. And Clyney [is], probably, out. [He felt an injury] in training the day after the game.

"Bobby had a little [issue] with his neck but should be OK, I think."

Bournemouth 13/1,not that I do much betting these days but I cannot remember odds like that for a visiting team.

No need to rest - the players are on a high, let's smash the Cherries, Anfield will be buzzing.

--------------Karius--------------
TAA----Lovren--VVD---Robbo
--------------Hendo---------------
---------Millie------Ox-------------
Salah------Firmino-----Mane

Only potential change might be Gini in for Millie in my eyes.

Tottenham host Man City while Chelsea travel to Southampton.

Bournemouth scored 1 and conceded 10 in their last 6 away matches (4 draws though) while we scored 19 and conceded 7 in 6 home matches (5 wins).

Get them beat and get this top 4 boxed off asap before operation no6 commences.

Operation no6 started ages ago. After xmas last season when everyone went into a meltdown cause out squad was not strong enough we already gambled that it was still enough to drag us over the Line so proper investments in the team could be done in summer......

Bit of advice please fellas.

I'm taking my lad for his first match at Anfield today (he's 9) and we've got seats in The Kop 304. I'm just a bit concerned about how much he will actually see over the heads when people stand up. I've never taken a child there before so it never occurred to me. Do kids stand on the seats when the action heats up or does he have to wait for MOTD to see if Kane scored or not.

Cheers!

Just let him stand on the seat if everyone stands up. That’s what my lad used to do

One disadvantage of the exciting football this season is that people are forever standing up and sitting down! Even when the attack is at our end of the ground the buggers still feel moved to leap up. I predict that the Bournemouth game will be comparatively soporific and the crowd will be passive, however.

I don't understand. Of course Kane will score. And if he didn't well he'd appeal it anyway.

[article]Liverpool may know the identity of their Champions League semi-final opponents, but there’ll be no let-up in their Premier League desire, Dejan Lovren insists.

After overcoming Manchester City in the quarter-final, the Reds were paired with AS Roma in the next stage of the tournament on Friday. However, with a top-four place still to be clinched domestically – and with it, a guaranteed return to next season’s Champions League – Lovren is adamant no-one will be allowing their minds to wander, with Bournemouth arriving at Anfield later today. “We know we are fighting for something still,” he told Liverpoolfc.com. “Nothing is over and we know it is a massive game for us against Bournemouth. “We need to secure the top-four spot for the Champions League next year and this is what keeps ourselves alive and awake. “We know we have a couple of tough games again – we have Bournemouth, West Brom, Stoke and then Chelsea. In these next few games, we could finish it and then hopefully concentrate on the Champions League.”[/article]

Kill me.

Hope the lad has the best time and witnesses a brilliant win so he always remembers it.

I hope he knows all the word to our songs sitting in 304.
He will hear some choice language up there, but nothing that he probably hasn't heard before at home I guess.😉
My lad, who is an adult now, still remembers and talks about his first trip to Anfield
Enjoy buddy
