It's too close to the start of the season for me not to be critical of his performance. With two weeks to go, it would fill me with joy to see him fit, slim and banging the goals in, Macca. But he's not, and I don't think he will either.

I think Coates, Allen, Ibe looked decent that half. We defo need another striker before the window shuts though, I'm all for having Lambert as a backup or option, but we need another striker with some pace and composure.
