Not bad. What's the overall prize fund? With this kind of huge audience interest, despite this being the pre-season and less-than-stellar quality of football at times, I can see this tournament growing in importance year after year. Was it over 100 000 fans in the stadium in Chicago? I imagine the corporate sponsors are happy to increase the connection with overseas fans and there is nothing better than training and playing there in person. Maybe in a few years teams will start considering this a part of the season rather than the pre-season.
Nothing on the official site but if the final is worth £2m then maybe £1m per qualifying match ? Total maybe £5m ++ from marketing / appearances ?

A boss friendly tourney would be every two years, with the likes of Utd, us, Chelsea, City against the top 4 from Spain, Germany & Italy.
All those have big enough squads to do it, & you'd bet there be enough rivalry to make it a little more watchable than a usual friendly.

Good team spirit we showed as well - when the teams walked off at half time, all the LFC players were in twos and threes, talking to each other, whereas it was really noticeable the Milan players walked off one by one, in a world of their own. They've got big problems but there's a good cohesion about us.
Aye. Love the way Allen and Lambert, quite literally, stood up for Hendo as seen in the vine clip.
