Wijnaldum has been amazing in this game. He was like Iniesta and Davids rolled into one - just dominating, great balance between being incisive and solid, just everything you want from a midfielder. Bobby should take the MOM plaudits, but Gini is a close second for me.

And either one of Rhys and Fabinho 3rd surely. Just boss.
When you rewatch that Jones will go right up that list. He was the attacking impetus TAA normally is while TAA was surpressed. And also defensively solid.

[article]Kane saw where the ball was going then hit the deck to make the most of the tap on his head and get play stopped whilst Liverpool were attacking. They have completed their transformation into a true Mourinho team.[/article]
that kane's 'head injury'. even the moaners agree with me.

Gabby Logan with the usual spice trying to get Klopp riled up a little.
Klopp just bats away.

But that corner by Robbo was right on the money, Bobby just made himself half a yard and attacked it...but what a run by Bobby after he scored...hasn't ran that fast for about 6 years. Bit like a European game against Juve or Inter...defend like rats then get the sly blindside run in..gutless football..

Klopps going on like we've just beaten them in the Champ league final!
Clearly see it as a huge game v closest rivals.

Here's hoping we stay there til the end
I think some of that was a 'Fuck You' to Mourinho. They had that 'discussion' at the end of the game and then Mourinho spouted shite in his post match.

People shouldn't forget (as if) we had a 19 year old U21 CB and our DM as our CB pairing. They were pretty damn good - a bit unlucky with the Spurs goal, just an inch in it. Williams played with confidence throughout and won a ton of headers.

In all fairness he is an exceptionally bad winner too

Stank the place out on this night to remember Gerard. Did Maureen and his ghastly club acknowledge his passing in any way save for 'Screaming' Lord Sugar's intervention? Most other clubs did.

Mourinho is certainly a special man. "The best team lost", really?
Talks about Klopp's "antics", has he forgotten how he celebrated Demba Ba's goal?

Absolutely. I thought Gini was utterly superb and easily MotM for me. Bobby 2nd and agreed Rhys and Fabs tie for 3rd.
