Gerrard and Degen playing really well. Aquilani in patches joining them, in other patches joining the other 8 clowns.
Morses top 3 is going to be a piece of piss at this rate.

I thought Gerrard has looked disinterested for most of the half.

Wonder what the attendance is tonight.

[/quote]got to be lowest in a few years that..
1-0 up at home to Reading in the FA cup, both Torres and Gerrard (his favoured position) go off and he still doesn't get a run out. He makes a really promising cameo the other week off the bench and what happens? Dropped out of the squad the next game and then doesn't get on tonight when the chance is there.
And he has to watch the antidote to technique that is Dirk Kuyt huff his way around the pitch.
G&T had to play because it's our only chance of a trophy this year and we regularly lose without them.
Shit first half, with no stand real stand out performances other than Degen looking promising going forward. Aquilani is not in top gear - far from it - but he constantly looks to give and go higher up the pitch, which ensures we're looking less predictable than usual.
However he's giving the ball away too frequently during his time at Liverpool, and it's something he'll have to work on.

If I was Pacheco I'd be a bit miffed.

I don't think youth players can afford to get stroppy about it. I'd like to see him get on at some point, however I can only assume Benitez is looking to put Babel in the shop window. And N'gog deserves to get on the pitch given his decent scoring record this season.
