Not an awful lot to be said about Shaqiri, Origi and Lallana sat on bench when we really need a goal.

Could have been worse. I hate playing Napoli. I'm not at all convinced playing TAA from the start would have helped tbh, their defence loves dealing with crosses, they're boss at it.

Well I guess we can't rest anyone against Salzburg...great. I guess it isn't how we do things in the CL.

I always take solace after distinctly average performances like that we should be infinitely better the next time out

It won't be easy, Salzburg are dangerous but if we don't avoid defeat over there we don't deserve to qualify and can have no complaints.

I fucking hate the shit house cunts. Both the team and fans.

Individually Napoli have our number a bit but we still should have put one opportunity away. We've won many games this season with worse performances than that.

Some really wasteful crosses in this game, lack of depth at fullback, and some subpar forward play really had an impact.

Which is why it was a bit weird that we hit those floating crosses into the box..

That ref killed all of our pressing game, but it does go to show how much creativity we lack without TAA.

Also, a midfield of Hendo and Milner was never going to create much going forward. Too slow and ponderous.

I feel like if we're not going to play the crossing game (and Trent is benched), we need CMs that can take people on in the centre and drive with the ball.

Ox should have started in the centre. (even though he didn't really impress when he came on).
