Weird game, and we've definitely been unlucky with injuries, but still... losing Agger and Babel shouldn't have deflated us the way it did. We were moribund in the first half, despite controlling possession. After scoring we sat deep and defended badly - no surprise when City scored. No surprise they scored a second either, as they looked like the home team by that point. Yossi salvaged a point, but it was barely deserved and doesn't really help us much anyway. Third substitution was bizarre, and tantamount to admitting we were happy with a point. I'm starting to lose faith in Rafa now, and if this run of results continues, all faith will be academic because he will be out of a job. Is that one win in 10 matches now? Fucking hell...

At this point, it doesn't really matter how good or bad he actually is.
The bottom line is that he's not as good as we need him to be in this team.

At this point, it doesn't really matter how good or bad he actually is.

Undoubtedly the team lacks confidence. We easily looked the better team for most of the game and after we scored I could see 2 or 3-0. However as soon as Citeh came at us we folded and started hacking. It's all about confidence and we desperately need a good win against a good team.

He doesn't do anything positive, doesn't do too much negative (nowadays) - he's the definition of a passenger. The only thing remotely positive I could give him is "he keeps the ball moving" and that's at a push.
