Liverpool v Manchester City Match Thread

Both sides have been completely nullified

I'd still rely on one of ours to fuck up though

City are reading our game so easily. Each time we get the ball we try to hit it to the flanks and they have 2-3 players close us down immediately.

We did seem to press higher up around the 35th minute mark.
What's the rationale behind this approach?
I don't know, I just heard someone (poss TAA) mention it in a post match interview in pre season.

I assume it's to avoid burn out, like against sevilla for example, where we leave ourselves vulnerable having punched ourselves out early, & to manage energy levels throughout the season.

Paddy Power dont have odds on the player likely to fuck up and cost a goal.

Im backing Gomez
