If we had a proper number 9, we would have won today. We have enough half chances in these tight games

Oh well. We played pretty well, certainly made more chances and dominated possession.

We might have even won with a decent striker on the pitch

Well played I suppose. Bossed the game, looked totally in control for 90 minutes. We had enough chances again to win. Cans miss was a shocker.

This is a proper NEARLY team.

Gap to City will be 9 points later today.
If we have more gears we need to go up through them.

I dare say I'd have taken a draw beforehand, but having watched it, they were there for the taking, but for an actual striker not being on the pitch until the last five minutes.

I mean it's a completely pragmatic and valid approach to play for the draws away against the top sides, and this is a great result for United, but to continually turn up at Anfield and show no interest in winning is proper shit house.

Especially with a squad worth about 750 million or whatever.

When they win the league in March or April with games left to play, I doubt their fans will give a shit tbh.

stick a half capable goalscorer on the pitch and we'd have won that.

the midfield trio impressed but againstntjat utd team , they always should.

Salah shouldnt be allowed to leave the next training session until he can prove he knows where the goal is.

My thoughts exactly.
And I still can't understand Klopp's persistence with Sturridge. Seeing him makes wonder if it wasn't better for us to keep Balotelli.
And btw, both the Ox and Solanke contributed more than Sturridge.

against what is probably the second best team in the league this year, i have no complaints. the midfield three controlled the game well and we created enough chances without losing control of the game as a result of pushing too hard for it. i was expecting to get stung on the counter and there was never any real sign of that happening, which is big progress for us

Someone just tell me Amanda Staveley was in the crowd again please?
We need some proper investment in this shitty squad.
