Thing is, it wasn't a half chance with Mane. We CLEARLY could have scored. How would we have been playing into Fat Sam's hands had we gone in at half time 2 or 3 nil up?
It's ridiculously difficult creating opportunities against a Fat Sam side when he puts 11 men behind the ball. So we can't expect to create a shit load of opportunities like in other games. We would have done had we been 2-0 up though. That's what's a shame today.
Obviously, having our best 4 attackers starting would have given us a better chance of winning. But I really don't think the starting line-up can be criticized the way some of you have, when looking at the facts.

They came to limit our scoring and give themselves a chance. They did exactly that and Klopp played into their hands with the team selection and the Salah sub.

Two sides of the same coin, Lovren was stupid to even allow the referee the chance to make an even more stupid decision. It's especially ridiculous when you consider he'd spent most of the match allowing the harder tackles in the derby spirit, to then give a complete non penalty which won Everton the game.

And yes they did win, because anything other than complete and utter humiliation is a victory for that pathetic small time club.

He was running away from goal with 2 defenders for company and no support. Its possible he could have scored from that situation but very very unlikely. Lovren did exactly the thing a CB is trained not to do, give the ref a reason to make a decision. if he keeps his hands down and shadows DCL there really isnt any danger.

He's a 1 in 4 striker career wise who's best asset seems to be his work rate. Haven't seen much of his finishing/passing to think there's anything there but an average player at best. He'll be a bench warmer or on another club by next year imo.
