Well, whatever the opinion of the starting line-up, we should certainly have been 2-0, maybe 3-0 first half. We had 80% possession and allowed one very weak shot from outside the box.
What was perplexing was taking Salah off. He was our only goal threat. That definitely was a mistake.
Solanke may get a lot better, but his movement off the ball is very shite. We missed Firminho badly.

That team that started was the biggest fucking issue. Dominic fucking Solanke. Looked like a kid from MakeAWish. Put out your strongest team for the derby, always. Then you can take off Coutinho, Firmino, Salah etc when the game is won and fanny about with Solanke. Not before. Complete and utter lack of respect shown for this match and the opposition.

It was a penalty and they conceded possession knowing we'd do fuck all with it. Played into their hands. Bit of magic from Salah and the Mane chance were our only decent opportunities. Klopp fucked that up.

The game comes down to 4 individuals:
1) Mane - 4 on 1 and he takes a shot that doesn't even test the keeper. You fucking greedy fucking cunt. That should be 2-0 with a tap in for Ox or Salah. Terrible.
2) Klopp - why take off Salah? FIRMINO DOES NOT PLAY WELL WHEN HE'S NO THE LEAD STRIKER. Fucking hell.
3) Lovren - It wasn't a foul - he barely extended his arm ... but what the fuck are you doing it for? This everton striker is absolute shit.
4) Official - I thought he was utter wank. Granted, Pete and others will say "red tinted glasses" but he confused me time after time (in the last few minutes Gueye should have seen red for a second yellow for tugging Firmino's shirt for example). To give Everton a penalty like that? That's fucking hogshit.
Terrible terrible result. Manure will draw/win today and we'd have missed an opportunity. We could have been 3rd and even more confident but we fucking blew it. Great win for Everton. They've spent a gazillion quid and play fucking boring bunker-ball, with Fat Sam managing and that twat Lee jumping up and down.

I can guarantee that Allardyce would've said to himself that if he can go into the last 15 at 0-0 or 1-0 then that would've been perfect. I'm loathed to say it but we played completely into their hands.

Absolutely gutted. Feels like a defeat. Aside of Mane not squaring it he was rubbish all game - constantly under hitting passes. For all our domination I don't think we were that good.
