Gerrard and Aquilani's been the main players. Team has been playing some beautiful football tonight. I know I'll be on tenderhooks til we get 3-0.
 
An early goal in the second half, they come out a bit more, we get a couple more and finish the game comfortably.

That's what's gonna happen, isnt it?
 
I've got a very nervous feeling about this and didn't think we'd get through after the first leg... but... we've played quite well so far, which is pleasing to see.

Made up for Aquilani, who looked like that meant something to him. I hope he can go on to do make us all forget about the frustrations of his first year.

Don't be daft. We're Liverpool, we do it the hard way. They'll get an early one but we'll end up winning 3-1.
 
Me and my girl are enjoying the game. She is adamant that Torres will play some part in the game.
She celebrated properly, there were nearly tears.
Great night so far, top performance from everyone in particular the front 4.
Word for Lucas who is having to do an awful lot on his own there with gerrard pushing on.

Me too. Begs all kind of questions about this year but fuck it - tonight matters now.
 
Is that the same Simao that was on the plane and almost joined us awhile back? Didn't we play against him in the previous Benfica match or is this a twin????

and ended up losing the ball in the end. but credit for his effort. that's the min fans expect no? so much better attitude wise at least for the past couple of months. e.g. no moaning, no DJing, no twittering...
