Wouldn't mind seeing the age of these Chelsea players some look beastly. Have to be older than most of our lads surely.

It's worth noting that this is the first season in the reserves (proper) for some of these players and we have a young'ish team.

On an aside, some dude on RAWK with a kid in an academy said that their (Chelsea's) facilities are far and away the most impressive in the country.

2-1 HT

On the backfoot for most of the half. What has let us down, as the first, is our ability to retain possesion. We give the ball away and Chelsea just hurries us out of style.

Some good players in that Chelsea side, and they certainly are spending a bit on money on their acadamy.

Several of our brighter prospects need to step up. Suso, Wilson and Shelvey have been very quiet.
Amoo showed his pace when he ran past Bosingwa.

MOM so far, probably Robinson. He's been very good, made some very good tackles and has a bit of pace. Could be a very good player that lad.

That's of course a very important point. It has to be said that a few our players looks like kids alongside a few of Chelseas big fellas. They've got an impressive crop of talent it seems. That little Portuguese of theirs really looks a player.

Didn't know Mark Morris was at Liverpool now.

Worked with him for two years at Wrexham. Good character is Mark.

you worked for wrexham?
Yes for two years.

Didn't do anything with first team or reserves however. When I was there Mark run all of the youth coaching we use to attend schools and put on sessions and also run soccer schools during the summer holidays. Done my C license there.

Ince should have done better then.

What happened, Pepe?

Little Danny played a nice ball in to his feet, Ince turned well on the edge of the box and went for a curl in the top corner, When really he should have been just looking to hit the target.

Few players been guilty of this today however. Going for the wonder goal when a nice hard drive would have done the trick.

3-1

Chelsea have 10 men too.

Hows Suso doing?
Hes done alright, Not has good as previous games, But played alright, You wouldn't think he was the youngest lad out there, Very good on the ball good eye for a pass. Will only get better. I believe hes our brightest prospect.

Finished 3-1.

Overall it wasn't that bad a performance, Looked a little out of our depth first half but second half we where the better team.

You have to remember that our reserve team is a very young team.

MOTM for me would be Jonjo this lad needs a run in our first team. He should be ahead of Lucas and Poulsen.

Pacheco disapointed me tbh. Tried the Hollywood ball far to often.
Hes either outstanding our rubbish you never seem to get anything in between. I still believe he has ability to make it here given the chance. You cant question is work rate.

That was a really good Chelsea team they come up against today.

'I' should be ahead of lucas and poulsen...

Did Ramires play for Chelsea?

They fielded a couple of kids against City, and the guys didn't look out of place in that Chelsea team.... which is saying something.

Suso has a gait about him that is not too dissimilar to Alonso's...
He very calm on the ball with a eye for a pass. He dose have a little bit of Alonso about him, He can also beat a man too.

He's still 16 I think so should grow a little bit more too.

The future could be very bright for this kid.

I wouldn't mind seeing Ngoo given a chance in the reserves.

I might be very wrong here, but is it normal for LFC to play Chelsea reserves?
I thought the reserves was divided up into North/South divisions.

it's hard to believe he's 16, he plays in a very intelligent and mature manner and hardly wastes a pass, I can see why people compare him to alonso although I think he is more mobile and dynamic.
