I have no fucking idea mate - whatever guff I wrote was cobbled together from having a few spare hours while the wee man had his afternoon nap and I could watch some clips online.

The thing with Edwards and Hughes is - they’re watertight - no-one, least of all us has any idea what they’re really up to.

There’ll be a plan - but fucked if I have any more of a clue than you what it is.

If he goes to PSG, so be it.
 
I believe Danns could make valuable contributions to this title race, and that alone makes him worth keeping around.

However, it ultimately depends on what Slot has planned. As he works to establish himself at the top of the game, it’s understandable that his focus is on the next six months rather than the next six years. If Slot isn’t prepared to utilise Danns during this period, then a loan move would be a sensible option. Slot isn't going to bowled over by a goal against Accrington Stanley. He made that perfectly clear.

For me a loan next season might make more sense for Danns because we'll have a clearer idea on how Slot sees out attack developing during his time here, but with the current differing concerns over Jota, Nunez and Diaz at 9 then I'd hope Danns can score some goals in the later half of games.

Hughes day consists of waking up and going to gym, then hair salon and pedicure followed by a quick photocall at the training centre. He then has avocado and salmon on rye bread for lunch careful not to add pounds to his physique. he then spends 2 hours talking to himself in the mirror and then finally he is on the phone to the agents of Salah, Trent and VVD adding another £5 on top of the offer already presented which is total of 30minutes and then after such a long hard day of work he will go home
 
I’d be hesitant to sell Darwin unless we really expect to use Chiesa & Danns.

Sell Darwin and we’re one Jota injury away from needing the sand front 3 every game

However i don’t want him in the squad next season so if there’s a buyer, it might be necessary.

I’d happily see Danns promoted.
 
A Darwin sale is most likely something we'll address in the summer, so a loan for Danns the next 6 months might actually be the best for him. Play regularly at a high level.

All joking aside, there’ll be a plan or strategy that covers all eventualities.

I wonder if it’s one of those things whereby how well we do this season, and by that I mean how much additional revenue will we generate from how far we go in the CL compared to last season.

We know we spent a wee bit on Mac A, Slobbers & Gravy last summer, we know we’re about to post a loss for the last financial year because of no CL, we know our spending has been minimal this season (the keeper) and we generated healthy profit from selling Van den berg, Carvalho & Clark and we know our ownership is risk averse and we generally only get to spend what we make on transfers (capital projects are different).

I presume they’re getting whatever fucks they have in a row, while also planning for what to do if all, some or none of Trent, Mo and Virg leave.
 
Also… you probably hit on think that PSG signing Kvaratskhelia removes one more destination for more and leaves him with us versus Saudi and early retirement.

The big question is, would you prefer Mo on a 3 year deal or Kvaratskhelia on a 5 year deal with Mo leaving in the summer on a free.

Pros and cons.

Kvaratskhelia plays on the left. So it’s not a question we should ask.

I would only give Mo that 2 year extension at most with option of an extra year. To be honest the right side with Mo is lacking attacking directness as Mo hardly beats his man through dribbling. So this Georgian Kev could be usefull for that reason but he plays on left so whats the point of that when Cody is doing the business this season ?
 
 
If we’re serious about trying to sign Tzimas in January, then surely Darwin must be off (permanently or on loan).
 
 
He sounds more like one to buy and loan back out. We're not going to rely on a striker who hasn't scored goals outside of Greece and the German second division. If purchased he would need a year or two in the Bundesliga

If we are looking to sign him, combined with the reported interest in Kvaratskhelia, then then it may be some indication that we're not enamoured with the current striker market/Nunez replacements.

Yeah, I'm just kidding. I haven't been following him closely but I get the sense this hasn't been a great season by his former standards. I'd like us to get him because he looked sensational when he broke onto the scene and was really good at the Euros too.
