How many Liverpool goals had Ian Rush scored when he was 19? I'm not saying Ngog will even be half the player Rushie was but for shit's sake, the lad has scored goals and gives it his all. He's still improving and now we shit on him non-stop. This

I wonder how many stars of the 70s and 80s we would have lost with the attitude most have here towards the kids we have.

Rush had scored 18 goals in 34 appearances by the age of 19. Then we bought him and he went on to score 139 goals in 224 appearances in the following 7 years at the top level.

Ngog has scored 7 in 42. And will never ever score what Rush scored.

No-ones shitting on him. I think not good enough for Liverpool it's as simple that. One thing for sure he should not be our primary striking cover for Torres. It's unfair on the lad as, developing or not, he hasn't got the ability to carry that role

Agreed. He is by no means our biggest problem, but he should also probably be our 4th choice striker

Well that was a bit experimental.
Id like to see Pacheco and I dont want to see Lucas near our team again. I would have dropped Kuyt but thats impossible with all these injuries.
I'd be happy with something like this too.

He needs to play players where they are comfortable not where they fit his system. Babel needs to play on the right, Kuyt can go up top and Riera where ever the fuck he is needs to go out on the left. Aurelio at LB, Degen at RB. Masher and Aqualani in the middle. I don't mind if Lucas plays, he is getting stuck in lately which says a lot about the rest of them.

Rafa will play the same system we always plays despite missing key players to perform it. Kuyt will stay right, Aurelio will play LW in front of Insua, and N'gog will lead the line. Just my opinion.

I'll never believe Lucas is good enough for LFC Wizzy but he's been slagged off something wicked and I'll say this much. He's never going to be a player that does anything brilliant but this season he's not been a player who's done anything really wrong either. If anything he's been one of our better and consistent performers. Don't get me wrong - given Lucas's level of mediocrity that frighteningly worrying but I think some of what he's come in for this season is wholly unjustified and there's many more players with far more ability who've performed comparitively worse than Lucas.
