This could be fun...

Club have annouced a large screen in Liverpool City Centre to broadcast the game..

Will be a ticketed event, details to follow over the next few days... I wonder where it will be?..

Obviously an attempt to stop the masses going to Basel and cash in on those missing out..

I'll be hosting a big screen for the final too.

It has comfortable seating for ten people & less comfortable seating for shitloads more, a 100" HD screen with surround sound, proper bathroom & fridge for cold beer. Plus it's free.

ha ha... yeh fair enough.. but with a nipper in the house, I don't think the wife would appreciate jovial and tipsy Liverpool supporters shouting at the TV

I will end up in bar somewhere with freinds... soak up the atmosphere. Liverpool is a fun place to be during a cup final...particularly a European Cup Final..

Though at 3-0 down at half time in 2005, half of the Liverpool fans looked suicidal 😀, wasn't so fun..

The little ones will be in bed (school day the next day), but it wont be too bad, can close the doors to the living room & the two youngest sleep pretty soundly. If they wake up it's tough. Gonna give Luke the option of staying up to watch it, & just promise not to repeat the words I was shouting at the screen.

At half time in 2005 I was in the Scream, & started singing YNWA cos everyone looked so glum. I dont know whether the people around me joined in before or after they aired the crowd doing the same on TV, but the entire pub joined in, gave me the same boss feeling it did when I started songs in the Kop as a kid (although most of the time I'd end up singing on my own, hit rate was maybe one in ten or worse).
