Let's revise our transfer targets upwards

The only thing about Milner which is particularly appealing is that he's English and we'll need that with the new quota thing.

Oh and does anyone think Mascher will still leave us if indeed we do secure good-to-major investment? Is it an ambition-thing with him? or a money thing?

His wife is a psycho-Liverpool-hating-bitch thing.

OK... I forgot Essien.... I want us to buy Essien.

Here's my Chinese Dreamteam:

...................................REINA...................................

JOHNSON........LUIZ................AGGER......COENTRAO

............................ESSIEN........................................

.......................ÖZIL..........GERRARD.........................

SANCHEZ.........................................................COLE

.....................................TORRES..............................

Bench: Sorensen, Cambiasso, Carragher, Kuyt, Lukaku, Aquilani, Aurelio, Kelly, Jovanovic, Babel, Pacheco, Ngog and Lucas Almighty

why does it have to be the transfer window when Silva is sold that we finally might have some money ='(

Lets have some fun anyway. I'd like Higuan, maybe take a look a Jesus Navas?

All the money in the world and you'll go for, wait for it, James Fekkin Milner? You guys must've been drinking from the night pot....

Anyways here's the players we should buy if we actually do go Chinese:

Thomas Sorensen, GK

David Luiz, CD/LB

Fabio Coentrao, LB/LW

Esteban Cambiasso, DM

Christian Poulsen, DM (back-up to Cambiasso)

Alexis Sanchez, RW

Mezut Özil, AM

Romelu Lukaku, ST

Should any of those be unavailable we should look at players like Gourcouff, Eden Hazard, Chissoko, Bendtner, Arda Turan and perhaps even Theo Walcott.
Cambiasso with Poulsen as back up. You surely build of the future??? I miss Kjær on your list BTW.
Poulsen out - Essien in.

I'd love for us to sign Kjær but he's just put pen to paper with Wolfsburg. There must be some reasoning left in Fantasia. (We'll buy Eriksen in 2011 after he's had another year with Ajax and we'd pick up Kjær in the same window then).

i'd have schweinsteiger, alonso back, lahm, robben and a striker like jovetic or fabiano

What the mother flipp...
You talk about drinking from the night pot (whatever the hell that is) in your first sentance cos people put Milner in.

Then you put Sorensen who probably was worse than Rob Green, Cambiaso and Poulsen.
Then go on to say hmmm how about Eden Hazard, Gourcouff and Bentner..Nick Bendtner.......

WTF has happened to the Scandanavian posters today. Go stand in the silly corner with HC

We'll need a solid, balanced 25 man squad. 3 GKs, 9 Defenders, 9 Midfielders, 4 Forwards.

GK - Pepe
GK - ??
GK - Cavelieri

RB - Johnson
RB - ??
LB - ??
LB - ??
CB - ??
CB - Agger
CB - Carra
CB - Wilson/Skrtel
Utility Defender - ??

DM - Mascher?
DM-CM - ??
CM - ??
AM-CM - Gerrard
AM - ??
LM - J.Cole
LM - ??
RM - ??
RM - Kuyt

CF - Torres
CF - ??
TM-CF - ??
SS-CF - Pacheco

.. That's what we've got that I would keep.

I'd look to fill in the blanks with some of the players outlined. God, I do love fantasy football.

We need English players KHL under the new system, like it or not. Milner is a prem proven, and looking better every year. He even looked pretty decent in the WC. So yeah, Milner.
I thought Milner was poor under the WC? Anyways you are probably right but what about this Huddlestone fella or someone else?

OR we could just put all our money on Shelvey.

PS The Bendtner-deal is getting more and more unlikely as he'd now demand to play week in week out. Because he's very very good. Albeit not Torres-good.

Yet.

Sorensen is a good Premiership-proven goalkeeper who'd be a splendid back-up for Reina. Fact.

Bendtner has already proved that he's a very good striker/forward. And as such a very very good option from the bench although highly unlikely as he'd want to play every week. People keep on talking about Dzeko but what has he exactly done at his age that Nik hasn't?

Nothing, is more or less the right answer here.

Most Gunners fans has accepted it already I'm sure.

It's not my fault that you haven't heard of the players I've listed mate. You probably will someday however.

Anyways Sorensen was meant as a solid 2nd or 3rd choice keeper with loads of Prem-exp. You can't expect Buffon and his like to come to Liverpool only for them to sit on our bench all Season and watch The Great Pepe keep clean sheets can you?

That said you can't just buy Messi and Kaka-players as you'll need a little balance. There are loads of good to potential WC players on my list. It wins.

The German league is a pretty good league though mate. And its not as if Bendtner has been setting the Premiership alight. He's done alright and might get better but your talking like he is one of the star players in England - he really isn't.

Not really thought about keepers too much to be fair. In an ideal world probably Joe Hart but then he is hardly likely to come here as back up to Reina, who is also still young. Mind you I'm not too convinced that Sorensen even would.
If we were going down the experienced keeper route I would put Mark Schwarzer ahead of Sorensen to be honest.
