Let’s get busy against the Bees!!!

Brentford are horrible to watch. All those free kicks and flopping around. Not helped by a poor referee.

We worked really hard but showed little quality. But I thought we deserve the win. Ali was hardly tested.

We were shite today.

Anfield got us over the line. If that was away, we're dropping points.

Please don't ever play that formation again.

Nunez is useless. He should be 2nd sub, after we've exhausted the other front 4.

Poor game but some lovely 3 points. We looked tired but Anfield pushed us over the line.
Next game, please.

Taylor tried his hardest to help Brentford but thankfully we won. PGMOL can get to fuck.

That was a tense watch, and we played well enough to win. Dont care that the performance was not all that, curtis started another game and we won. Remember this was a team that beat Man City AWAY !!!

VVD and Konate dealt really well with the physical battle. Took yellow cards and walked the tightrope well.

Alli was good too. Alert and stable.

We defended very well from set pieces today. Had to.

3 games in 6 days. 3 wins in 3.

Now some rest for the boys.

The irony of Liverpool fans loving, and typical Engurland fans hating, the booing of a foreign national anthem is really quite something.

Huge win.
3 wins in 6 days against a very difficult opponent.

Of the last 11 games of the season this was one I had the biggest doubts over.

Luckily I cottage cream pied the shit out of a Jason Voodoo doll to get us over the line.

Salah the match winner yet again but he’s definitely worth being our highest paid player. Oh no sir!

2 huge chances fell to gakpo today. 1 fell to Nunez. 0 goals

I reckon Nunez missed two sitters - there was a headed chance in the first we’re it looked like he closed his eyes and totally missed the chance. The lob from Trent - he should have buried that one.

Gakpo had two chances, not sure what else he could have done with the one Jota drilled across the box - it was hit hard and fast, one of those where if you’re lucky it bounces off his shin and in but no way he gets to control that. The other chance was poor.

The 1 where Trent lofted it over to him he defo should've done better with....the technique was all wrong, remember the headed chance think the ball came in from Mo on his weaker foot but even had he made contact it was a difficult chance to convert with a lack of pace on the cross and having very little target of the goal to aim at.

Gakpo shouldv'e defo done better with the 1 Jota flashed across the box Imo as he was it coming the moment it left Diogo's foot and it's not like it came at him from 2 yards out....the snap shot he had to take early as a defender was onto him, difficult one.

Important 3 points.

Not sure the Gakpo in midfield worked - he struggled to get into the game - it’s doesn’t real make use of his talents.

There’s a reason Nunez has spent most of his time on the bench and today showed why he needs to stay there for a while longer. Good, intelligent runs, but crap hold up, terrible decision making, clumsy in possession and poor execution when he had chances.

Lot is work for Nunez to do in the summer or we should be looking to recoup sone money on him.

Diaz has to start on the left - Jota’s still not looking great - maybe needs more time, but I’d be seriously thinking about moving him on if a suitable offer came in this summer - if we thing we can bring someone else.

If we’re going to have Trent in this hybrid RB /MF role, whoever plays at RM needs to get over and support Mo more quickly -Hendo didn’t when he can on and again Gakpo isn’t really effective out on the right.

By fuck do we leave massive gaps at the back - the space between our CB’s is ridiculous at times.

Better from Fabs.

Jones has learnt to be a bit more restrained and is retaining the ball better, but he’s gone too far in that direction - feel like he needs to add in a little bit more creativity, rather than always passing back or sideways - but he’s playing well enough.

Nunez has loads to prove.

The cross from Salah with the outside of his foot in the first he should have gotten his head to.

Trent's excellent chip ball in he should have scored. It's right at his foot.

Another one where he was clean through and the ball got stuck under his feet (by his own doing) and he shot straight at Raya.

I was prepared to give him some time to improve his overall play, but finishing off chances? He had 3 good ones and donkeyed all of them. Jota would have scored at least one.

He needs to do alot better or he will quickly be the odd one out of the 5 we have. We can see what each of the other 4 brings but Nunez, not sure. At least not consistently enough.
