I think City will win the CL this season, and they will take their eye off the ball in the league

I know the thread is a hypothetical, but Klopp may need to make an actual choice soon.

We play Chelsea in between the two legs of the quarter final and there's only 2 days rest between the Chelsea game and the 2nd leg.

The ideal would be if we battered Porto at Anfield and could then rest up a few in the 2nd leg.

If that doesn't happen, does Klopp still go all out with our pressing game vs Chelsea and then rest up some vs Porto?

Or will Klopp rest up some vs Chelsea to make sure we can go all out in the 2nd leg?

Team selections for those games will be interesting.

Depends on the gap going into the Chelsea game but considering it’s our last big league game I can’t see anything but him going for it full throttle

If Klopp treats both competitions equally then I think we'll see some rested and maybe not much pressing.
