Klopp's hamstring

If he had just given the yellow or red, and said nothing, that will be that, no issues either way. But he has to say what he did, which showed a level of emotion. He should be refereeing based on facts and rules, not emotions. It's unnecessary, made worse by the fact that they had a history. It's up for interpretation yes, but it should never be.
Fair point although one could argue he said to get Klopp off his back!

Aggressively running at the 4th official and celebrating in his face. Inciting aggression against officials. Imagine Jota ran to the ref and celebrated that way. Klopp ticked all of the below. Officials are off limits, period.
  • using offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or action(s)

Inciting aggression against officials? Our team has a long history of not doing this at all. If Klopp is inciting them, he's doing a shit job.

Klopp didn't do anything particularly bad. It deserved a yellow and nothing else, as adjudged by the person directly involved. He ran up, yelling nonsense in the heat of the moment and then turned around, he didn't get in his face. It's a mountain out of a molehill.

Its not so much about what he did as about what he said in the post match presser imho. For PGMOL at least.

No, according to some news articles we DEFINITELY deserve a points deduction because of it apparently

Yep. He'll get in trouble for that of course.

I'm not going to wring my hands about him accidentally being honest about his opinion though.

Agreed. We all know he would have worded it differently if his emotions wasnt running high.
But thats Klopp and we love him for it. I’ve got no problem with it.

You're all such a bunch of hysterical fannies.

It was an emotionally charged football match. You know - the ones in which there is supposed to be anger and passion? If you stop to ask yourselves for a minute whether anything bad happened - the answer is of course not. No one got hurt except Klopp. nothing really bad was said. It was a simple case of "in your fucking face you corrupt bastard" which we all feel from time to time.

It is what it is. Nothing to see here.

Everyone of those shit pundits are milking it for what it's worth.

Ibangawhore is asking for a 5 match ban. Behave.

I just always love this stuff, it's so funny to me. Rafa wearing the tracksuit, Mourinho sprinting down the touchline at Utd, this from Klopp.

It's brilliant.

I think the next TV deal should include referees getting a jump in salary past the £100k mark. However, they're are to be scrutinised by facing the press, and each match is audited by an independent board.
Also, can't see why the Prem can't request European refs for domestic games!
