Klopp's hamstring

As usual, our medical team told him to “walk it off”.

I love Klopp but what is he actually doing there? Looks so cringe. I'd actually be embarrassed if Mason wouldv'e done that after Spurs levelled it or any other manager in any game tbh.

Celebrate with your staff and players on the bench, what's the need in that?

He fucking hates the ref with a passion.

Given his overall temperament and self awareness, he's probably right.

I get that but now all he's done is manage to make all the discussion about him when it should be on the teams crazy 7 goal thrilling win, he knows the camera's gonna be on him every time we score so control yourself a wee better, if you really need to make a show of it then go into the refs dressing room after the final whistle where there aren't cameras on you.

FA gonna review it and deem it worthy of a 50k fine and 3 game ban, it's not worth the hassle.

He knows all that. He's been pretty boring of late.

He's had a hard season, let him jump around a bit for God sake. I scream at the ref and I'm in my living room, and my whole career isn't riding on the stupid cunt. He's the mad one?

I think its a good thing that Klopp shows some passion and emotion. Its good for him, the fans and the players.
Yesterday he was in his right as well given how shit Tierney is, and as said in the other thread I would love to hear to audio of what was said between them.

Yea i don’t like it either. Love the guy but give the fourth officials a break.

As for Tierney isn’t there some saying about don’t attribute anything to malice when it can easily be caused stupidity or ineptitude? He easily could’ve sent Jota off and i can understand why he’d be getting a bit sick of Klopp.

Tierney had a few opportunities he could have "hurt" Liverpool yesterday. On top of a possible red for Jota, there was the Konate/Richarlson penalty claims he brushed aside. If Jota had marching orders, the 4th goal wasn't likely to come from us.

Yeh it’s hard to build a case of bias against us after the Konate and Jota incidents

Klopp has let his emotions get the better of him in the past and apologized, and in general he's not as wound up due to age (VAR also killed klopp). In this instance, in a crazy game, he hasn't apologized. Because he hates this ref, and has a whole history with him and doesn't want him to be selected for his games. I find it very easy to just hate him too, especially when no one is arguing Tierney IS a good ref.

I've embarrassed myself in my own home due to the pressure of life, and then apologized for it, and that's probably the millionth spill, or someone yelling dadadada a thousand times while I try to do work. Klopp was answering questions in the press for half a year about why he's failing at his job.

Perhaps the focus should once again be on refs not being shite, rather than a manager being cross

How much attention do we need to give the refs, it's boring. They take all the limelight when the focus should be on what a great game we got to witness.

If Klopp doesn't sprint out his technical area and bounce up and down like he's getting ready to have it out with someone for sleeping with his daughter and never calling them back then there wouldn't be any focus on him.

How are we going to cope collectively with the trauma of watching someone get excited about something and not hurt anyone though?

It was just so embarrassing seeing a man celebrate a last second winner.

When I think of the events of yesterday, there's just nothing,

and I mean nothing...

...remotely as embarrassing that could distract me...

...from the calamity that was a man running 20 feet while yelling and then turning around sheepishly clutching his hamstring.

I mean, ultimately, if refs weren't shite, people wouldn't kick off

Exactly. How many times in the past five years have we had players, captains and coaches kick of against umpires in cricket. It is a different culture I know but look at the way they used technology to make common sense decisions to improve the fairness of the game. Also, umpires don't want to be the center of attention like referees in football.

I think Klopp might be a little excitable, I know this comes as a shock to you.

Maybe we can have Benitez lend him a notepad and a pen?

So now every time we score a late winner after getting hard done by a decision or 2 Klopp should sprint to the 4th official and celebrate in front of him? Is that what you call normal behavior from a senior figure?

It's normal from a man who is a fucking loon and more passionate than anyone about football.

Ok but we knew that already before the winner?

No one has explained the need for it, probably because they can't.....the 4th official is a nobody, he's literally a stand in to oversee what the ref does and to be questioned or shouted at by both sets of managers....nobody even knows his name without googling it.
