Klopp is no.1 in Europe for...

And despite all this, we're 4th ahead of "le tout puissant" of Wembley, in the knockout stage of the the champions league. I see this as a journey, not a destination. We're all round better than we were last season and certainly in Rodgers's last season.

Nobody is denying that progress has been made and Klopp deserves credit for that progress. But the window of opportunity to win something with a group of players is small. With Can leaving, Coutinho potentially leaving, there is this fear that we may have to go into rebuild mode again in another 6 months. A lot of posters are criticizing because the same obvious flaws are happening again and again which is preventing us from going to the next level and win stuff.

Having said that things will look a lot more rosier when we win the Champions League in six months 😉

Quite. Last week it was Henderson's fault, this week when he didn't play, it's not down to the midfield, it's our injured defenders.
You are personally butt hurt about Henderson aren't you?
I was trying to give Klopp an excuse regarding that terrible record, but I guess Clyne and Matip are terrible then.

Klopp does not need an excuse - any person can see that he is now setting up the team to provide adequate defensive cover. Sometimes we have to accept that players make mistakes and in this case at least two critical mistakes by individuals cost us the full three points. But also - I don't think we can just point the finger at the defensive side of things. We put a lot of effort as a team in our attacks, and creating chances - if our final shot at goal is off target or not good enough then that in itself is a mistake and an individual error - Klopp was right when he said - if we won the game 3-6 then no one would be saying anything about our lack of XYZ. We should have been 3-0 up at half time at the very least - as we don't even create those dead certain chances weaker sides let alone Arsenal.

Being 2-0 up at Arsenal is no guarantee of a win - I still remember our 4-4 at Anfield against them - so we have a history of this sort of shit against Arsenal even with a defensive minded coach.

When we hired Klopp it was because the previous project was gone beyond savable. Hence we must assume our squad was not good enough, being Liverpool our not good enough players were on lucrative contracts and we were planing for rebuilding the stadium.

I believe Klopp during his tenure har around 50% winrate. In a little over 100 games for us. If it os correct that we have lost 43 points from winning, combining this with his 50 wins, it means he has taken a team so shit that they got the previous manager sacked into a team putting themselves in winning positions 93 times in just over 100 games. We all know we haven't won all those games, but the most difficult part of football is actually creating goals. Hence that is quite impressive of Klopp (And his team). Of course things are not perfect.... otherwise we would probably not had to sack Rodgers in the first place. But it is far from the pathetic doom and gloom we see every time we loose points.
43 points doesn't equal 43 times !

Not looking past that Awful stat, but How does your defensive coaching correct Gomez individual decision of not attacking the ball or Mignolets shithouse goalkeeping skills?

That doesn’t take a coach. It takes a manager to realise that a player or players have been consistently making the same sorts of mistakes for some time now and need replacing. Preferably with someone better.
