£12m Transfer Kitty For Anfield Bound Roy
Roy Hodgson will be handed an initial £12m transfer kitty when he eventually takes charge of Liverpool.
The Mirror says Hodgson has spoken to his Fulham board, and conceded that he would find the offer to manage at Liverpool too hard to turn down, despite his affection for the Craven Cottage outfit.
Liverpool will offer a minimum of £12m in cash to spend on new players, plus all money raised from sale of players the new boss deems surplus to requirements.
Liverpool are determined though, not to let any players leave until the new manager is in place, to allow him the chance to decide if he wants to keep them.

I can't believe that anyone thinks the Daily Mirror has any information directly from either the Fulham or Liverpool boards.
Come on, details of conversation between Hodgson and his board and the details of LFC's proposed transfer kitty. Seems very unlikely to me.
As ever it's a national newspaper fishing for details they don't have by making up stuff and hoping that either party will issue denials and perhaps let slip real information.

They want to sell, and they know that a buyer won't be put off by how badly they treat the fans themselves. It only makes the new owners look better.
I'm more and more convinced that they're going to sell our best players to repay the debt and maximise their profit.
