Keita off?

He wants to play regularly? Cheeky cunt. YOU ARE NEVER FIT.
I was gutted when Gini left. And Origi. When Bobby leaves I'll be gutted too.
When this guy leaves I won't even notice.
Yeah it’s probably just his agent making noises to his mates in the press.

Where is he going to go? I knew he would get injured sooner or later, but not just before a match.

Realistically I'm not sure it matters, if we subsidizes his and Ox wages to move them on now if doesn't cost us any more than when they walk next summer after sitting in the treatment room all season.

Also, Neil Jones just tweeted saying that the Keita injury is suspected to be serious and he might miss significant time.

least he’s not doing a Coutinho.

No, Coutinho convinced others he was good and was sold at a massive profit. Keita is unsellable, but oddly is treated like an integral part of the squad.

I can’t believe Naby is injured again, how did our amazing data science team not predict this?
Totally unexpected…

Klopp has made veiled comments about kinda not being happy with the spending for a while now.

I think the statements he made before and after the games on having more players available are the closest we are going to get to him ranting like Rafa for more transfers.

I expect FSG and upper management to go into full hiding mode as per lock down season while Klopp handles all press management.

John Henry has the letter to the fans drafted up on standby in case things get really bad.

I don´t know why he would do so, rather than just tell them directly?
Maybe he got rebuffed, a bit out of character to throw hints to the press like this, no?

there will be a video from his mansion, wearing his vest, making apologies in a grandfatherly manner, like when they fucked up the superleague thing

By “Kieta’s off”, do we means he’s dead and started to whiff a bit - no-one noticed because he wasn’t moving any less to when he last had a verifiable pulse?

The only reason he would go Germany is for treatment. No club would be stupid enough to pay a fee for him when he is injured and on the last year of his contract

It’s also significantly less intense, to be honest. Which is why not many are making it over here despite tearing it up over there.

Naby will most likely end up in Germany, hopefully Klopp's got tired of him, but it will be as a free agent. It will suit him and his agent.

Yeah, I think there has been a significant drop off in intensity in the Bundesliga over the last few years and it shows in regards to how players adapt or succeed in the Premier league.

Fwiw Ligue 1 has seen an increase in its reputation as the second most physical and intense league after the Premier league. So it will be interesting to see how the likes of Botman, Kamara, Onana and Doucoure will adapt this season.

Tchouameni would have been an excellent signing for us, and we should probably keep looking at Ligue 1 for a new midfielder.

Naby is very frustrating. He has the highest ceiling of all our midfielders. On his day he's our best presser, can take part in excellent intricate passing and movement in the box and has a decent shot on him. However we see this max 3-4 games a season. I'm definitely a Naby fan boy but I'm ready to see him gone, and I fear any more injuries will really impact the price we could get for him.
