I hope we replace our goalkeeping coach as well as our goalkeeper.
The Atletico one can't be all that bad having coached De Gea, Courtois and Oblak.

He's 26 and had one good season in the top flight. People like Michael Keane, and another 'keeper in Tom Heaton, have looked good at Burnley. Keane has been a disaster outside of Dyche's system. Heaton's a decent keeper, like Pope, but I wouldn't advocate signing him either.
Numbers and stats lie. Mignolet looked great on stats. Keepers like Ben Foster, too. We need proven, top quality on keepers. No more scrounging around at bottom half clubs and pinching their keepers. There's a reason they're down there. Get Oblak.
Well that would be the most likely inference on a Liverpool forum, wouldn't it? I can't think of one other Kenny D with a Liverpool connection unless you can correct me?
I'd love Oblak, but at no point have we been connected, and alas, I suspect he'll end up at Utd with De Gea heading to Madrid.
Ming didn't look great statistically across the board the way Pope does. Do you think he was ever number 1 in the stats on high claims in the box? No doubt he was reasonably decent on saves, because he used to be a good shot stopper (I don't think he has that gift anymore). Similarly, whilst we didn't record sweeper keeper stats when we signed Ming I would bet my last quid that he wasn't towards the top of that table statistically. Pope stands out amongst the rest because he's very good.

He's just a bit stressed Oncy, I'm sure he'll find his feet and be less of a knobhead once he gets in the groove.
His overall game looked shaky as fuck.
As for the goals, well that's where a De Gea pulls off a worldie and you talk about him having no right to save.
