When a kid bites his brother on youtube it's adorable, but when Suarez bites Ivanovic it's criminal?

Hypocrites.

"You're not going to get anything out of me" Gerrard tells an interviewer, after he asks him to comment on something he's just said he hasn't seen. Quite right.

My 18 month old bit his 5 year old brother yesterday. He got a smack & a severe telling off.

Cos it's fucking horrible.

Why is this even a thread? Of course we need to keep him. No matter how controversial he is, he's our best player by fucking miles. And if his being controversial is the price we have to pay then so be it.

If he leaves and we get say 40 million, you can bet your arse that we'll piss it down the jacks. We'd never find a replacement for Suarez. Not even with 40 million.

Yep. Agree completely.

But our owners won't. Sadly.

Utd kept Cantona, but I doubt they would today.

So the same player and the same offence is not a worthy comparison, see what you want to see mate.

Ajax decided he wasn't worth the trouble, some people here seem to think that because he has had a great season he can do whatever the fuck he wants no matter how low he sinks. Maybe you could print up some T-Shirts in support of him and convince him to stay
Yeah, you keep quoting your own fucking posts to make arguments.

Some of the hysterical reactions on here are worthy of a paper that we don't like.

John Terry got 4 games for racism.

Defoe got booked for biting.

SCM hystericals - 10 game ban, 8 game ban, sell him, he's a cunt, that's next season done etc etc etc

Fucking bell whiffs.

Surprised he wasn't compared to Thatcher. Get a fucking grip FFS.

By the way, if he's going to get a lengthy ban, I hope they decide on it quickly. He could use the rest for the remaining games before he goes for the Confederations Cup. We'll probably miss him for just the first few games in the new season then.

People need to behave a bit. I wont defend Suarez, it was a moment of madness.
I've no idea if the club will sell him or not, I hope we wont as he's the best player in the league.

But when you look at the spitting, elbowing, kicking, headbutting and career ending tackles people get away with its insane to suggest a 7-8 match ban. Terry got 4 fucking games for rasicsm.
Ivanovic doesnt even have a mark on his arm.

I hope FSG gives him one more chance. But we need to punish him aswell. A fine donated to a charity or something.

Of course some tackles are far worse and do cause a lot of damage but you are meant to tackle with your feet during a game whereas teeth aren't used all that often when trying to retrieve the ball from an opponent

So what? You aren't meant to tackle at knee height, like that Wigan player did, or stamp on people, like Aguero did last week. Both of those are FAR more dangerous but there's vastly less (if any) fuss about them. "Double standards" doesn't begin to cover it.

Reminds me of my Dad. That's some pretty good parenting.
Soon enough, when your kids are acting out while you're not around, your missus is gonna use the "I'm gonna tell you father" technique on them. Works like a charm.

Here's an interesting thing about the incident that triggered the biting when he was at Ajax:

Suarez argued with Bakkal, who stood on the Uruguayan's foot, prompting him to bite the PSV midfielder's shoulder, although the incident was missed by the referee

I think we should fight this case and argue that Suarez was born with a rare condition such that stepping on his foot acts like a spring release and triggers his jaws to part and lunge forward.

She does use that occasionally. Most of the time the 'mum' stare & simple warning works a treat though.

Lets get things clear, the bite IS wrong, it the reaction to it, especially from some on here is frankly despairing. You get wound up when Sky have their agenda in post match interviews and now some are dong the same thing as the likes of Shreeves.

It would seem some are suggesting a lengthy ban because its Suarez. That's simply madness and as I've said previously worthy of a journalist from *that* paper.

Have a word with yourselves.

Genius player but a massive liability. Indefensible actions today. We'll keep him though because we have so few other options. He's a fucking thick cunt though and he's lost a lot of good will today.

Did he actually bite him though? I mean, if he wanted to, he could of taken a chunk out of his arm. Yes it doesnt look good but its more of a tooth rub than a chomp!

According to Cech, Ivanovic hasnt even mentioned it in the dressing room. Yet we're talking about the death penalty.
