Keep him all day long.
The only thing I'd criticize is that he got the wrong lad.
Should have been Luiz.

Defoe biting Mascherano was the last incident in England like this, Sky say. Defoe booked, no further action taken.

Maybe its cos im so far away and not in the maelstrom of media panic etc but... Sell him? Last game for us?

Calm down gents.

IF he gets done it'll be a few games... Ivanovic is unhurt and played on and probably wasnt actually hurt at all bit of a scrum bit of a nibble bit of a ban....

relax.

Well done Rafa for refusing to play Sky's game. The interviewer sounded so gutted he didn't know what else to ask.

Do you think that FSG will have had enough?

All a bit weird really. Gives an interview saying he wants to stay but sometimes the club sells players that want to stay. Then this happens.

Deliberate mental display or genuine nuttiness?

Henry will already be making plans not to shake Suarez's hand.

We're shit and often boring, and he's the most entertaining player in the league. Why would we want to sell him?

Not like selling him is going to make us less shit.

Fair play.
Sky can fuck off too.
Same last season when some of our own fans were criticizing Dalglish for his interviewing skills.
Don't give that reporter cunt a second.

Am I the only one who found this ridiculously funny? I've seen the replay multiple times and I've pissed myself laughing each time.

Maybe it's because I've stopped caring about this season, but how funnily CRAZY was that? It wasn't cynical at all; he genuinely wanted to taste his flesh!

I don't want him gone but today was indefensible.

I think we should publicly announce he has mental problem and the clubs are offering him psychiatric help. If we make a big deal of his mental illness then the press will have to go easier on him.

Christ, Rodgers, he was looking at his PR people like some scared kid. Fecking hell! He says he won't talk about it, then looks again at his press officer, then waffles on, then looks at his press officer again, etc etc. If you don't know what to say, man, DON'T TALK AT ALL! Ginsoak would dodge the whole incident until later.

why is it a huge deal? he hardly did a tyson.... fuck this im off to bed, hoepfully the sky will fall in before i wake.
Err, in that people claiming Suarez will get an 8 match ban are off the mark, as both referee and FA agreed that a yellow card was enough for a biting incident in the past.

Had sky paused & just seen rafa interview. Good man. Had the reporter stumped cos he didn't wanna talk about the match.

I'm amazed - more people want him gone now than they did for his 'racism' (as per the FA).

In fairness there doesn't seem to be any doubt about what happened here, whereas there most certainly was in the Evra business.

That said, macca has it absolutely right. Tackles which chop other players off at the knees are far worse in my book, they happen every week and nobody makes anywhere near as much fuss about them.

Brendan should play dodgeball, the reporter could not nail him on Suarez, decent effort.
Thanks Rafa aswell

'one of the best players in the world', your own words from the match thread, is worth having -10 games a season, especially for a team in our position.
Or do you expect us to sign Falcao?

I dont see why he gets a bye to do shit like this just because he is our best player, if this was a one off totally out of character occurrence maybe but he has done this before, he knew what he was doing he knows how important he is to this team, but he doesnt care, he has no self control. So he will create another conspiracy in his head and justify it with his 'will to win' bullshit, he wont be winning anything sitting in the fucking directors box for the first 10 matches of the season

Even QPR had the integrity to kick Barton out after his rampage against City last season, QPR, a team battling relegation had the balls to bin their best player because of his lack of discipline. And our fans our terrified the sky will fall in if we dont defend Suarez at all costs

"Players are always replaceable," says Rodgers, sweating and twitching at his press conference, after saying he'll comment "later". If only you had, you great twit. What a fucking SHAMBLES!

No doubt that the F.A will demand some retribution from the club if they can't bend the rules to punish him.
But I really want Fsg and Ayre to stay out of it.

Loved by Scousers, hated by Londoners. If only he was an Argie he would be the perfect opposite of Thatcher.
