and the predilection for punching rather than catching.
a quality top tier goalie; which now looks like delusional bollocks.
Read the post.Name one "top tier goalie" that would come to Liverpool, that is better than Karius. This is the best we could have gotten.
Good interview that. Speaks perfect English and comes across as supremely confident.
Says he's a very offensive keeper, and likes to come off his line and control situations before they become a threat. We've lacked that since Reina left.
No chance, Sakho will come back five stone heavier now that he's cut out the fat burning pills. He's going to end up sending Sakho into Row Z
I see your point. A keeper's pace is more to do with agility & decisiveness, compared to that of an outfield player which can be narrowed down to outrunning the opposition with or without the ball. .. if Karius is decisive & agile, then he will be a major improvement over Ming IMHO.Increasingly important with some managers, who like keepers who are quick off their line, have good feet, and can play out from the back.

Better than holding on to it like our hopeless dopey mingHe's so slow he kicks the ball away as soon as he gets it. It's as if he's scared of it.
Right. I'll go first. I think he'll be between the sticks first game of the season. Anyone else?
Don't we have to give him more money though when he leaves?Does this buying Karius prove the theory that Ming was given a new 5 year contract in January only to increase his price when we sell him?
Excellent interview.
With all due respect, I never get the need to praise footballer interviews.
