That Arse clip is very encouraging. Unless that performance was completely untypical of him it shows the guy can not only attack but defend as well, and that's still crucial for a fullback. He even chased Walcott down at one stage.
 
He seems pretty mean in the tackle in those clips. And he and Downing are sure to dominate the left wing.
 
I'm a bit pissed off really and would like to express my dissatisfaction at how little we're actually paying for this player. He may look half decent and his stats stack up but, come on, £5.5m ?? If that's true then we need to sort our act out we do and, if we've anything about us, we should be going back to the Barcodes with an immediate £15m counter offer. I mean, what the fuck are we playing at. Ridiculous. This is all Comolli's fault obviously.
 
i think this has to be a good signing, really. great fee at £5.5m, very quick, yet more added width going forward, reasonably solid at the back. i like it.

takes our spending under FSG past the £50m net barrier as well, and i think that's probably around the amount of investment i thought we needed to get us back in the CL; on the whole i'm confident we'll get there. roll on saturday.

No, it isn't just you, but we can get around that. As a comparison McMoneyman's wasn't all that either, but when he went to Real they used him in a different role in which he didn't have to pass the ball as far as often.

So true .. it means his ACTUAL value is around 3M and is a 3M player what we should be buying at this stage ?
 
Im wrapped we have finally got a good left back with pace and strength who can defend and attack!! now if we sign a CB then we have good options everywhere!!
