Sky Sports understands that Liverpool have agreed terms with Sunderland for England international Jordan Henderson.

The Reds have been locked in talks with their Premier League counterparts, after making their in initial approach last week.

The two clubs have been haggling over the valuation of the 24-year-old, who will undergo a medical with the Merseyside giants on Wednesday.

It is understood that the deal that has been agreed is worth £20million and it will include David N'Ggog moving in the opposite direction - subject to him agreeing terms.

The French striker will hold talks with the North East club, whilst Henderson brokers his move to Anfield.

Henderson is due to link up with England Under-21 squad ahead of the European Championship which begins this weekend, and both club are eager for the move to be completed before then.

This has done two BRILLIANT things.
1.Made the U21's well interesting now......*edit* can we not moan about him playing in it and get him sent home? 🙂

So who is next. Youve gotta think Enrique and either Dann or Jones will come in right?

So LW and DM are the two areas im still concerned about to be honest. However if we have Enrique, Dann and Henderson id still expect another one or two attacking talents.
 
i really dont think we'll get a DM, think we'l get enrique, jones/dann, mata and wickham, i guess id be ok with that, o yeah probly fattie aswell

IMO That's a decent deal. As a previous poster said £20mill cash would be a concern. I like the N'gog + cash off tho. I guess there's not much love out there for N'gog. 63 appearances and 9 goals! I was sure he scored more than that. ???

he was always inbetween worlds, too good for reserves too shit for the first team. he reminds me of that brittney spears song, 'not a girl not yet a woman'..............they dont make em like that anymore
