Not just stupid, it could be quite dangerous if alleged Russian and Chinese programmers develop a few algorithms to push certain stories to the front of the line. According to the twitter spastics that is.

With a tattoo that has a deeper meaning that us common folk wouldn't understand

Edit - I see you've already pointed that out

I'm assuming that once finished the deeper, philosophical meaning behind an AK-47 tattooed onto his leg will be clear:

"PS Gunz iz bad"

I'm convinced that anyone who doesn't see the media treatment of him is blatantly racist must be a tory

I don't think it was racist to begin with, but I think us as Liverpool supporters deserve a lot of the blame.

We pushed the flash money grabbing cunt agenda, and the media lapped it up

Sadly, this was picked up and skewed by the racists in our society. Now the media is perpetuating a racist idea...but it sells papers so they're not eager to back down

Referencing sterlings tattoo in an article about knife crime is just ridiculous. I await Jesy from little mix to get similar treatment

I don't think (some of) the media is racist. Info think that they will utilise racism and flag waving to make money however

Precisely. And if you can see this truth when Raheem Sterling is the one being attacked, then why not when Big D Donald Trump is being attacked?

"Deserve a lot of the blame" my Arsenal. Given the way the little dipsh!t behaved in engineering his way out of LFC we had every right to call him what he was, namely - as you so appositely put it - a flash moneygrabbing cnut. It's been picked up and taken too far since, but NO WAY is that on us.

This has me worried that we're going to be encouraged not to boo Sterling. The wee shit is going to end up getting a free pass, isn't he?

Because he wanted a bigger contract for playing an important part of a title challenging team? Considering mascherano, Suarez, Torres, Owen, coutinho etc all get a free pass for engineering moves, what is it about the prodigious talent of sterling that got us all so riled up?

Find me a high profile 18 year old who wouldn't get a flash car. Sturridge and Chamberlain pretty much model bling on Instagram, but they're not given grief.

We were "wronged" by sterling, so we pushed the agenda, as we have a lot of people in the media.

As far as jilted lovers go, our fans are fucking special breed. Even now, we're in a good place, yet we're talking about booing him. Fucking why? That means fuck all to him.

It's been fucking years and we've got Salah and mane, why the fuck would we be arsed to boo? I cannot fathom it

The year he left, sure, vent. But now? He's won trophies and justified the move.

Because it makes him play like complete turd. I'm sure we would have given it up by now if it wasn't having a tangible effect. As it stands, all about marginal gains, my good fellow. If we're prepared to hire a throw in coach, Anfield should do its bit when a player struggles badly when he is being booed. I actually have no problem with Sterling. I thought it was quite funny when he did that thing with Ox, and admitted that his daughter's favourite player is Mo Salah. Yes, he's probably a bit of a classless tit, but that's true of 95% of players.

To be fair he's normally turd against the top 6, rather than just us.

Masch - went abroad, or he'd have been given hell.
Suarez - went abroad, though I doubt we'd have given him hell based on what he did his last season.
Torres - got hell every single game against us - was called/treated like Sterling (left us for a rival for more money etc).
Owen - went abroad, got hell more after Manure than before.
Coutinho - went abroad, or he'd get hell (he's struggling big time @ Barca - will leave within a year I think).

I think I'm with you in your last page summary - sterling got absolute hell from us because he left us with the help of a dirty as fuck agent for the best team in the country. He left because he saw the team was heading down (we were footballing wise) and realized he could a) get a shit load of money and b) medals by engineering his move to the right team (as I think he'll do with City within 1-2 years before hitting Barca/Madrid/PSG).

Did that take a life of his own? Probably but most of us hated his gut early on because of things that had little to do with race. I would have felt the same way if he was a Yellow Jew, Pink Muslim or Red Jedi.

What I got from listening to neville's talk is when he discussed Cole and "one of us" ... Something is there - and it may be simple tribalism or blatant racism. Rather thin line a times, but part of me hurt hearing that ... If that's really how the black players have to deal with shit, then there defo is the same exact problem that we're seeing more and more of in the US and A.

But Liverpool fans did worship him and appreciate him, even after getting fucked over by Torres. Then he left us like a cunt just like Torres. So if there is a point that he isn't getting appreciation from the media that a white player would, that's tough shit. He didn't value our appreciation, if he now wants to bemoan the lack of appreciation by the media or england fans then he can go fuck himself.

No. because he dissed LFC in media interviews in order to burn his bridges there. The idea that those other players "get a free pass" is moonshine BTW, especially on here. but (whatever else they may have done) not one of them turned publicly on the club the way Sterling did. I tend to agree that booing Sterling, or anyone else for that matter, is pointless but the idea that he's the only target is a load of hooey.

Mascherano literally refused to play

So the player is telling the truth in this situation, yet for sterling he was burning bridges for a move

Great being able to pick and choose

Sterling's comments are a matter of public record whereas Hodgson's version of events was directly contradicted by the player he was claiming to quote (and by that player's own performance less than a week earlier). Hodgson also had form for lying, e.g.his claim to be a personal friend of King Kenny when in fact they hardly knew each other.

Although I do agree that as a fan base, we turn on anyone who goes on to “bigger and better things”. Let’s face it. We don’t like it. Liverpool are the pinnacle of a players career, and if they WANT to leave us as one of our best players, then we can’t fucking handle it. We all know it, let’s just be open about it and fucking carry on as we are. Easy. Fuck the lot of them. Cunts.

Behaving like a superstar at 20...and leaving a club that just recently fought for the title with the very club he chose to go to is not comparable with anything Owen or Torres etc did.

A player @ 25+ is in last chance saloon to be influential in title winning team and so I can understand a bit what Torres, Owen, Masher, Suarez etc did. Less so when it comes to Coutinho...and I can just not digest it when it comes to Sterling, who left just after we gave him his big break and the year after we were challenging for title...we were hardly the hapless team for a 20 year old to turn his nose up. By way of disrespect it is right up there...he can go fuck himself. I can't be arsed feeling pity for him.
