He has been brilliant since being in the squad. What he excels in is fighting for the ball in tight spaces and making that critical pass. I think he has improved to the point where he makes a difference now in midfield. I can't wait until Henderson is back, I think Allen, Henderson, and Gerrard will be great together in midfield.

Joe Allen brings a gazillion time more than Lucas , OK that might not say a lot for him per se , but he is a first choice each time every time for me.
We have not seen the best if him in my opinion.

I think that the guy has a lot of game intelligence, he also seems quite cool under pressure which is a big plus, and does provide a little bit of urgency to the midfield even from defensive positions.

I was clearly joking. If you read further into the thread I say 'Jurys out' with you also suggesting you were starting to worry about him.

I think it was a mistake to play him as a DM but in that freeer role he looks boss.
You can find other threads from when we signed him when I was extremely happy.
He is no DM though and was shit there.
