I think we do. Why else would Klopp have tried to replace Ming with Karias? With Karias turning out worse than Ming, we’ll definitely be looking for someone else.

Karius came in in summer '16, six months after Mignolet was handed a new contract. Since the Karius transfer, the club/Klopp have had a further two windows to address that area but all that it has amounted to is keeping Ward this year and swapping keepers in and out.
It's hard to see who he rates the most out of Karius and Mignolet, maybe if Mignolet gets some matches in the knockout stage then we'll have a better idea.
Personally, I'd love us to upgrade but just haven't gotten the impression that it is seen as a priority position.
