He was excellent at Ajax.
Very skillful and intelligent player.
IMO he could have been a very good replacement for Bobby

Transfers don't happen between LFC and Man U, so there's no point even thinking it. Besides we have Gakpo

The only FW/Winger that we've been linked that's a credible link is Johan Bakayoko from PSV. €40m is the asking price appz

Ivan Toney might be worth a punt….

If he wouldn't cost 80m I'd agree.

Solanke on the other hand has a buyback clause allegedly

As a clever forward who can link play, but is at least half clinical....might be worth it

Solanke has to have more than 1 purple patch to be even in the sentence

Toney would be a top striker in a top team. But we can't fit him in without pissing off someone else. So, he goes to Arsenal for £50/60M and is ace. It's just one of those things.

That’s up to the current strikers to play in such a way that they get picked over Toney.

I agree though - he’d cost too much.

I don’t think Solanke is the one for us, but I agree, Toney is too expensive.

I know it won’t happen and I know it’s be a huge risk on a player who doesn’t really pass the Klopp dickhead test - but Klopp has expressed positive views on him in the past.

If anyone can turn him round and the player is willing to put the effort in - Jadon Sancho seems to be the one high ceiling player that is available.

He’d need to take a pay cut and Utd sell him at a loss - a loan deal would be ideal.

I know, I know, red flags everywhere and Utd don’t sell their players to us….

… but I do like me some redemption story arcs

He might…

Do we have a sell-on clause for him as well?

And Bournemouth would be best holding onto him until the summer IMO. Make sure they comfortably stay up and look more attractive to the next wave of transfers they want to sign.

40m euros for Bakayoko? Well what the fuck are we waiting for?!? He’s OUR guy. If PSV get all touchy about it because it could (despite
them more or less wrapping up the title) derail their season then tell them 35m euros and keep him until the summer.

3 goals in the Eredivisie all season.

for that money I'd rather pay Olise's release clause.

9 shots zero goals in his last game?
